  1. So I'm testing a new load order for my return to Fallout 4. Adding a few mods here and there testing them to make sure they work. I've been nailing down some minor bugs a bit at a time. Such as earlier solved the purple trees with Borealis by downgrading BNS to 2.0 and using the LOD pack for BNS and Borelias Landscape/Grass. However, I'm getting a weird flickering when outside only. Thinking its related to a mod conflict in my load order. If it helps all my lighting and environment mods are near the bottom to help me troubleshoot. Problem is it's so hard to even take a screenshot to show what it does even. Maybe someone can help me please with any red flags in my small load order. Thank you for your time. ENB: PRC X w/ NAC X Load Order:
  2. So I'm making a compatibility patch for Immersive Fort Dawnguard and Pandorable NPCs Dawnguard and wanted to know how the first record looks that I did before I went any further. Cause I want to make sure I'm doing this right. As I need both the AI modifications that Grantyboy050 puts into his mods but I also want to have the Pandorable NPCs from their Dawnguard mod. Basically I took Grantyboy050 mod guide from their Immersive College of Winterhold mod and applied the same here for his Immersive Fort Dawnguard mod. I set xEdit to hide no conflict and empty row records. Then I copied the NPC record as a override record to a new patch. Then transferred the npc headparts and texture/tints from it so it'd match the records from Pandorable.
  3.   Just run Oblivion using Steam, you don't HAVE to run Oblivion using Vortex, like you do with MO or MO2. Beware though, using Vortex with older games where there wasn't a standard for packaging mods is going to require you to repackage some mods. I still use Wryebash for Oblivion, while using Vortex to download the mods, because a lot of Oblivion mods are packaged for OMOD or BAIN  I wrote an article about my experiment using Vortex with Oblivion  Vortex and Oblivion, an Experiment Vortex and Oblivion, an experiment Thanks I'll read that over. Also yeah I noticed that with some mods like Realistic Leveling with Oblivion.
  4. So I have Steam version of Oblivion and installed it correctly for Steam. Cause I can get it to run OBSE when I launch it from Steam itself. However, when I try to run Oblivion through Vortex it won't trigger obse. Is there something special I have to do with Vortex like you have to for MO2?
  5. Like a sick screenshot with the armor and weapons? Yeah basically with the Divine Crusader armor equipped with Sword and Shield in hand or the mace and shield. Don't matter which.
  6. Thanks for getting back with me. I look forward to the hotfix and keep up the great work on Vortex.
  7. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if something has changed but since the latest Beta build update I'm getting errors for some reason on FOMOD installers for body replacer textures. Tried it with two seperate male texture replacers for SSE that I know have worked for me in the past. Edit: I found out that it is basically doing it with any FOMOD installer. Edit #2: Error Logs from Vortex
  8. Not sure how hard this would be but was curious if anyone could make a main menu of the Relics of the Divine Crusader Armor. Possibly with it being compatible with main menu reshaped please. Thank you for your time!
  9. Okay I don't know what gives but I went and did a clean install of Skyrim SE and proceeded to clean the masters. Something i've done countless times mind you. However, the dawnguard wild edit is not showing up like it normally does in xEdit as before with the RiftenRatwayZone. It's like missing all of its records in xEdit compared to the last time I did it. Tried verifying the skyrim files. did a clean install of the game and still shows this way before I even touch the masters. Edit: Someone on reddit answered this question. Apparently I spent the last 2 hours of my life trying to figure this out and it was that hide no conflicts and empty rows was checked marked. Even though I never use that filter and had even reinstalled the xEdit app.
  10. So I'm almost done setting up The Frontier with Vortex and have all my ini files ready to go per the mod authors instructions. However, I have Vortex setup for profile management and told it I want it to have its own unique game settings for that profile. Question is where do I put those ini files that i created? That way Vortex will use them every time I want to use The Frontier profile I created for it. Edit: Would they still go into the game settings folder New Vegas uses in documents or would the ini files go into the profile folder I found in the AppData? I hope I'm making sense.
  11. Wondering if someone could help me please. I decided recently to switch from PRC Ultimate to Film Workshop as I really love the look it gives my game. Especially with camera stocks I chose. Problem is while the daytime looks great and so do interiors the nighttime not so much. It's almost pitch black. Now i tried increasing the Night brightness with NAC and that does help alleviate some of the issues where I can see my surroundings some. The problem still remains that character models and such are way too dark unless i'm shining the pip-boy flashlight right on them. Does anyone have some tips on how I can fix the nighttime please? Cause I really love Film Workshop and my only recourse is to possibly go back to PRC and this is basically the last thing I've been trying to fix for my 2020 modlist. I use NAC for exterior lighting and weather Ultra Interior Lighting for interiors Film Workshop camera stocks: Prolochrome P4450 Experimental Kodak Vision Color Print 2393 (D65)
  12. For some reason my character at certain angles or lighting seems to cause the character's face to become blurry or lost of detail. Almost to where I want to say it's giving me a brown face but all my textures check out as I just use vanilla size for the face and if I disable the ENB effect the problem goes away. Cause I've used PRC Ultimate Immersion in the past and never had this issue. Even encountered this issue on Film Workshop ENB as well. So something has to be wrong on my end. Has anyone run into this issue? Can anyone give me advice please? image: https://imgur.com/a/IH563SX current enb version: latest playing at: 1440p 60hz specs: load order: Modlist not all are enabled yet andalso MO2 shows everything in reverse
  13. ààEXACTLY Vortex tries to do all the work so you don't have to. The only time Vortex says anything, is when something is wrong. Ok thanks! Iâll leave Vortex loot grouping alone then. Only thing Iâve needed to do so far is setup a custom rule for Wet.esp and NAC and Wet patch as the mod author says to load those after the NAC plugins.  Exactly. You usually only need to do something (like make rules etc) ONLY when Vortex complains about it.   This is what the Nexus, and the Vortex author is striving for.  Well Vortex didnât complain about it and had it wrong from what the mod author recommended. So I made the rule for it following the mod authorâs advice.

  15. So should I just leave the group settings alone and let LOOT do itâs thing with only adjust my load order if a mod calls for a certain order?
