So pretty much I had an idea, and that was that I limit the psy testing to 1 soldier every 20 hours, but chance PSI_GIFT_CHANCE to 100. I did this using the resource editor. I started a new game (Ironmode), unlocked the psi testing chamber, and threw in my colonel. Lots of missions then went badly without her, but I started getting a new team of mid-range soldiers up. She came out... aaaaand... didn't have the gift. So how exactly does the PSI_GIFT_CHANCE value work, exactly? Is there any way I can change it and reload and have my character come out as a psychic? If not, is there a way to hack my save and make her psychic?
