So, it's been a while since I put this request up, and I tried to contact "emerso" multiple times using e-mail/ this forum. Seems that he isn't active any more... This means I will most likely not get a direct permission to have his mod changed.. However, if someone knows how to do my request, I would EXTREMELY appreciate a short how-to via Personal Message, so i can try it myself. Since I will not upload any changed files, there should be no "copyright issues". Thanks :blush: -

I've looked at some other Mods that use XRE and some of them actually have additional interactive options (for example a openable door to get into the back of a truck etc.), so I assume changes like that are allowed. However, does someone maybe know how to contact ermeso? Looks like he hasnt checked the XRE thread in a while. I almost forgot: the hood would not Need any animations, would be satisfied to have it just appear open. -

Alríght, thanks for the help :thumbsup: Ermeso can't recieve any personal messages, so I posted in the official XRE-CARS thread , hoping that he'll read my request. As far as i understand the "permission"- tab of the addon guide (all the way down http://xre.ermeso.com/addonguide/ ), editing/ adding cars to the mod is allowed, there are multiple mods (retextures/redesigns) that use one of the included vehicles as base model , so adding a bonnet/ inventory token would be okay (i guess :blush: ) But i might get that information wrong, english isn't my native language... Anyways, I'll let you know as soon as i get more information on what is allowed/forbidden :happy: -

First of all, thanks for the fast reply :thumbsup: I'll send him a pm to clear up if its ok to edit his Mod. Does that actually mean that you could edit the car to Have the requested functions if i get the permission from the original mod author? That would be extremely nice -
Hello :blush: I'm using the "XRE-Cars" mod (can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49042/? ) and i want to add two functions to one of the cars (the one in the picture below) in the mentioned mod. http://static-8.nexusmods.com/15/mods/130/images/49042-1-1367407527.jpg The Functions would be: 1: An option to store the car in the inventory (i once used a Motorcycle mod which had that option, immersion breaking but damn nice to take the vehicle wherever you want) 2: Openable bonnet ( There should be a engine texture below already, the damaged/wrecked Version of that car doesn`t have a bonnet, exposing some kind of engine-texture) I've tried to do that by myself, but looks like these modifications are way to complex for someone with no Fallout-modding experience :confused: , would be thankfull for any advice on how to do this I Would really appreciate the help of some talented modders giving tips or even trying to create the mod for everyone with similar interests. :smile:
