  1. Can a mod transfer this over to the mod request folder please?
  2. Yeah, that kinda bugs me to. Would love to have it so weapons have location slots, one per leg, one (or two) on the back, two on the belt. Favorited weapons will show up there. I like how the favoites have 4 sections, and I usally seem to group them as pistols, rifles, melee and grenade, so maybe the first in all each section shows up or something. Anything is better then right now, I'd even settle for just your current equiped like it's been in the other two games.
  3. Well, most food in the game is irrateated anyway, so you have to weigh the good and bad aspects of it. I think it's fine as it, but can't wait untill the "hardcore" mods start coming out that require eating and drinking and sleeping.
  4. Thanks for the support! Usually when I make posts about a game not having support for color blind people I get mostly negative responses. Thank you very much!
  5. I've brought it up on the Bethesda forums as well. It's really annoying not having it, I've already failed some speech tests because of it.
  6. I made a post earlier but I'll drop it in here too. There really needs to be something to help colorblind people when it comes to speech options. There's different types of colorblindness, so I can only speak for me and mine. I have a hard time with colors that are close to each other, sometimes they blend togather if they are to close. Examples include blues and purples, dark pink and red, dark brown and black, light green and yellow, dark green and light brown, and the big one (at least in this instance) yellow and light orange. As of right now, I can't tell the difference between regular speech, easy speech and medium speech. I just click what I think is right for my character and hope for the best result.
  7. Thanks for confirming that it'll be worked on! The script extender is without a doubt the most usefull mod (or tool) for Bethesda games because without it we can't have so many of the other great mods that get made.
  8. It's basically crippled me on one important aspect of the game. The colors for speech and speech checks. Seriously, yellow, orange and red. The problem is, I'm color blind and some colors blend togather, blues and violets, light greens and yellow, light browns and black, dark reds and browns, dark browns and black and most important in this situation, yellows and orange!
  9. Thinking about reinstalling the game after a very long time having not played it. Got all of the official DLCs but I can never play unmodded games... that sacrilege. Anyone want to offer me suggestions on mods to get into the game. Preferably ones that don't conflict to bad! Suggestions on utilities to use (such as NMM or anything like that). It's been so long sense I've played I don't even remember which ones I had in the game before. Definitely want some NPC mods, some home base mods, weapons, overhauls, new systems, UIs.. stuff like that. Also, is there a way in game to adjust and control them, like there is in Skyrim (MNM or something like, forget what it's called exactly). Thanks Kyle
  10. Well, still not sure what brought those odd balls on but I had uninstalled and re-installed everything for various reasons and this time watched for them. Just perky showed up, but sense that isn't odd anymore, that's OK. The only thing different is that this time SKSE went in manually instead of using the installer. Odd as it is, that might be it....???
  11. I think I figured out Marcus... despite making 0 sense. I deleted the .bsa and .esps for the unknown ones. Ran LOOT, loaded up NMM to start the game and noticed the SKSE option wasn't avaliable. Re-installed SKSE with the installer and the Marcus files came back. So... possible that they are related to SKSE? It was the only change I made after deleting the files.
  12. OH! Ok, I thought you meant something different. I wasn't being messy, at least I don't think I was. I was installing in small groups.. core overhauls, then lesser overhauls, etc etc etc and ending with abodes/homes and then followers. Which makes it's even odder that I can't figure out what they are. I sorted my data folder by install order and my NMM by install order and tried to match them up (found Perky that way). Got no results, so then I copied all of the mods from the NMM folder, extracted them all and searched all of them and didn't find any .esps that matched the others. I deleted them, we'll see if my game explodes!
  13. Hate to necro but OP, do you happen to know here the Marcus.esp is from? I have that one and several others that appeared around the same time while installing with NMM that I can't place.
  14. Ummmm.... yes? I'm not trying to sound ungrateful about your advice but.. to put it simply, I have no clue what you're talking about. This is my first time using NMM nearly exclusively, the play through before this one was about 30% NMM and 70% copy and paste. Anyway, back on topic, I looked at them in mod organizer and each one showed as belonging to a mod of the same name as the files. Of course, refer to my above comment, I'm new to this style of using programs to DL install the mods with my previous method being DL and copy/paste. That said, I might have read it wrong and misunderstood it!
  15. I would have thought follower mods too, but I haven't gotten to them. Home and follower mods are always the last I install, once I get the game changers in.
  16. As I'm slowly rebuilding my mods list to get a stable version I've begun to notice that some mods take up ALOT of space on the list when you add in the various options and the patches. Is there a way to combine these into a single .esp file so it doesn't take up valuable space? A perfect exampe is Climates of Tamriel which is one of my favorites and I love having it in. Looking at my data folder though I have: ClimatesOfTamriel.esm ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp ClimatesOfTamriel-Dungeons-Hazardous.esp ClimatesOfTamriel-Interiors-Cold.esp ClimatesOfTamriel-Nights-Level-4.esp CoT-WeatherPatch.esp CoT-WeatherPatch_NL3.esp CoT-WeatherPatch_SupStorms.esp Supreme Storms - Cot Version.esp Just to get the Climates of Tamriel with my preferred options and patches for the DLCs I've got 1 .esm and 9 .esps! That's pretty crazy, and it's not alone in taking up multiple spots on the mod list but is the most extreme example. Most of the others that have multiples only have 2 or 3. The only other one that's pretty extreme are the Populated mods with 5 .esps (Cites, Dungeons, Forts, Roads, and Civil War).
  17. So after a failed attempt of playing yesterday I'm trying a fresh redo of my mods to try and get things working. Installing a few, running loot and TES5EDIT if needed, starting the game and testing the loadout and then rinsing and repeating. I'm pretty early in, ran loot and as I was skipping the list to make sure it looked good and there were no errors showing up and saw some files I didn't recognize. I opened the data folder and WOW there are a lot of things I don't know where they came from. The ones in question: lindacomp.bsa lindacomp.esp marcus.bsa marcus.esp nadina.bsa nadina.esp Perky.bsa Perky.esp svalana.bsa svalana.esp Does anyone know what those are from? As I like a lot of mods in my game, having unneeded .esps in my list wasting space is something that is very annoying!
  18. About ready to give up with the game again after getting about 10 minutes in. Thanks to LOOT I was able to get things working so I could get into the start of the game, using Live Another Life I started in the ship wreck up in the north near Dawnstar. Got to land, turned on Frostfall and started heading south. I managed to survive long enough to see the green grass north of Whiterun but I can't get to it. As I get close the game was first locking up, requiring some fancy work to get my computer to restart (otherwise it would have to have been a hard restart). DLed and used the Optimizer Textures tool from the Nexus, loaded the save and now instead of the game locking up it just closes itself and I'm back to the desktop with no message as to why. Tried running LOOT again to see if I missed something but the order isn't changing and getting no problems. At a lost as to what it could be.
  19. I have ALOT of mods that use the MCM menus (think that's the right name, where you go into the menu to config the mod). Anyway, curious, is there a way to save all the configs for them so I don't have to configure all of them again if/when I start a new game?
  20. The issues like Scarcity that you mentioned, that would have to be a problem related to NMM then, as everything from Nexus is installed with the NMM. The only ones not are the population ones, which aren't on the Nexus.
  21. Didn't know that BOSS was outdated, thanks for letting me know about that! I got me some LOOT and actually like it a lot better, the output is easier to understand then the output from BOSS. It's also worth noting that after running LOOT and cleaning what it said needed cleaning, I loaded the game up and got in with no problem. I compared the loadouts, looks like BOSS wasn't putting them in the right order, LOOT did.
  22. A friend of mine was talking about Skyrim the other day and got me in the mood to play again. The problem I have with playing Skyrim is that I can't play vanilla anymore and inevitably one of the mods breaks the game. The last play through the game got broken during the siege of Whiterun and I figured out it was the Civil War Overhaul. My only option was to start over with it (or updated version) which I didn't feel like doing. So after staring at it on my Steam list I decided to play again and went through the nexus and picked out a new set of mods (including the civil war overhaul, which I LOVE). First I couldn't get the game to load, it just hangs at the start without even giving me the new, load, credits, quit options. I uninstalled everything and slowly reinstalled until I found the problem there. Now that I get to play the game I keep crashing right after making my character, as some of the option type mods start to fire (only example I can give is the Named Soul Gems mod as that's the one that comes up before the crash). Sense it did get the auto-save before the crash I loaded up the auto-save without the Named Soul Gems mod and crashed as soon as it loaded, so I know it's not that one but now I'm at a lose of which one it would be. Is there an easy way to find the culprit without having to uninstall everything and slowly put them back in? I've it helps, I've been using BOSS to set the load order but it doesn't recognize 61 of the mods. Not sure if I can use that to find the problem. I'm going to attach the bosslog and the loadorder file, maybe someone that knows more can figure it out. Not included in the list are about a dozen texture mods that have no .esp file. But if anyone could tell me if there's an easy way to find crashes, it would save me so much headache as I go through this every time I get the urge to play.
  23. And here I am just wanting a simple sex mod, a black screen where it's just like the Fallout games. My current play, the character was a crusty sailor that was thrust into this Dragonborn thing. He might be a Thane and a Dragonborn but he still likes his drink, his septims and his woman!
  24. Bingo. Some how things moved out of order on me and the unoffical patch was below all the DLC files.
  25. I'm at a lost, I can't absorb the first dragon's soul and so I can't advance in the main quest. I thought at first that it was Hunterborn that was causing the problem so I ticked dragons off and killed the dragon again. No luck so I ticked the big game hunter (forget what it's called) option off and tried again. No luck, so this time I turned Hunterborn off completely... you guess it, no luck! The next likely candidate was Dragon Combat Overhaul so I turned that off and loaded the save back up and killed him again and no soul at the end. For the record, the save I'm loading off of was shortly before arriving at the tower. I'm at a lost of what could be causing the problem. I'm listing all the mods (all 100+ of them) that I have, if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.
