  1. No, this is all prior to me starting a new game. I was installing new stuff and sorting my mods ready for a new playthrough. I have started a new game for every test I have done and the problem persists through every new game I make. This is definitely a load order problem, I just don't know where. None of the mods I have downloaded said anything about any incompatibilities with other mods I have and the load order guide didn't either so I'm pretty lost.
  2. I ran it through LOOT and it didn't display any error messages. Guess I should have put that in the original post.
  3. So the title pretty much says it all, but I will try to give as much info as possible. I downloaded some new mods, installed them all fine and loaded up a new game to test them out. Everything was working fine, including adoption. This was before I sorted my load order. I just installed a bunch of stuff to test out first. As soon as I sorted my load order, I can't talk to any children to adopt them. The most I can do is give Lucia a gold coin. The dialogue to buy Sofie's flowers doesn't even show up. Interacting with them just makes them say generic greetings, it doesn't even bring up a dialogue box. And I can't adopt from the orphanage either. I kill Grelod, wait the appropriate length of time, go back and talk to Constance Michel and do the interview stuff but can't talk to any of the children. I don't know if this is a related issue, but the quests to become Thane and buy the houses are a bit janky as well since sorting. In my most recent test, I tried to go through the Riften quest line for Honeyside and completed the skooma den quest, but wasn't given a quest to become Thane. All the mods I have are clean and up to date with no bugs reported. At least, no bugs pertaining to my problem. And google was no help at all. My load order is below in the spoiler section (be warned, it's a pretty long list). I sorted it with this guide: Skyrim Recommended Load Order Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
  4. I am getting the same issue. It only just started for me today. Up until now, they had been fine. I installed a new mod, but I removed it once I noticed the issue and they haven't gone back to normal.
  5. Not sure if I need to say this, but just in case; Spoilers below. Let me start off by saying I love the Institute. It's by far the coolest of all factions in any Fallout game (In my opinion, of course). But, that being said, I mostly play good characters. Whenever there is the option to avoid violence, I take it, but the Institute doesn't make that easy when it comes to the Railroad. I don't understand why there isn't an option to lie about their destruction. I know the game wants you to pick a faction, but still! The Railroad have been in hiding for a long time. It's not outside the realm of possibility that they could remain hidden if you just tell the Institute they're gone. Maybe you could even stage their deaths. They ARE known for being sneaky! Think about it, if you are playing a good character and have taken every opportunity to stand up for/rescue synths then the Railroad would be likely to hear you out even if you aren't with them. And the Institute (at the very least, Father) would trust you because of all the things you do for them. Not to mention the fact that you have to play through a significant portion of the Institute quest line even when you side with the Railroad and they still trust you! For example, at the Battle of Bunker Hill you can free the synths and then lie to Father to protect yourself and be able to remain in the Institute. There was a mod I really loved for Skyrim called Disband the Thieves Guild that does what it says on the tin. It let you get rid of them without having to resort to violence and it's the perfect example for what I'm suggesting for the Railroad. An option to convince the Railroad to go deeper into hiding and a speech check option to lie to Father about killing them during the quest End of the Line. So, would anyone be willing to make this happen? It doesn't seem too hard to do to be honest, but then I'm not a modder. I'd be willing to bet someone is already working on this, or at least it's probably been suggested before. Well, let me know what you think and thanks for reading!
  6. My prediction? Bethesda.net will become a subscription service and you will have to pay for the Creation Kit for future games. I can't believe I used to defend Bethesda. I still love their games, but they are becoming just as corrupt as EA.
  7. I actually had that one at one point. I'm pretty sure it only has the Black Mage Hood and all the others that are connected to the robes. I will check it out again though.
  8. Hello everybody peeps! Ok, so I really like the Black Mage Hood (the one that is separate, NOT the Hooded Black Mage Robes) and I have the player-wearable version, but I would really like some re colours of it to go with other robes. All I have been able to find is one brown re colour and some fur versions included in the Immersive Armors mod. I would just like some simple, non replacement, player-wearable re colours of the original, non-armored hood. So, would any kind modder be willing to make this for me, a simple Skyrim lover? Also, sorry if someone has already posted this suggestion (I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this), but you couldn't pay me to search the entire forum!
  9. lol yeah, I really lived up to my Topic Name with that one! Thanks again.
  10. Hi, Yeah, that would be awesome, thanks. Just one thing though; would I need to have DA:II installed already before I install any of this? If so, I would need to get it first. lol But at any rate, this is good for future reference.
  11. Hello Everybody Peeps! OK, I need someone to tell me, in PLAIN SIMPLE ENGLISH; IS THERE A TOOLSET FOR DRAGON AGE II? OR IS IT COMPATIBLE WITH THE ORIGINAL TOOLSET? I have tried looking up any information about this and it was very confusing. Some of it seemed to hint that it was compatible with the original, but a lot of it was contradictory. Some of it was just plain moronic. So I would really appreciate it if someone could explain exactly what is going on. I will not buy this game on the PC if there is no toolset! It's PS3 all the way otherwise! Thank you in advance for replying. Ashley.
  12. I think I will look for that. Thanks very much for the suggestion! I didn't even think to look for a vid, but that's sensible. :)
  13. OK, here's the thing. I want a female character save file (preferably Human Noble) in a relationship with Alistair but BEFORE the sex scene. I could do this myself, but i have played this game soooooo much that i can't be bothered at present. "Why does she want this?!", you may ask. Well, i downloaded the "Alistair's First Night" mod and I really want to see it. I'm not just a pervert! ;D I loved the wedding scene by the same author and i really do want to see this without all the hastle of getting to this point. Thank you!
