  1. I've been running some experiments. So healing via eating food was disabled by one of the mods, which I've now enabled for the time being. I've narrowed down the problem and it only lies with the ordinary stimpak. Super Stimpaks heal me, but stimpaks don't. The reason why is that somehow the 'effect' (plus x health per second) has been removed. It's just an empty box. So I can consume stimpaks as the item is still in the game, but because it's not applying any healing effect it's not healing me. I can only find the readme for Project Nevada, and it says nothing about it there. It also says nothing about effectively 'removing' stimpaks from the game on any of the mod pages mentioned in the OP. I've been looking through the lists of console commands to try and find one to add an 'effect' to an item but can't seem to find one. I've also tried to debug the stimpak by using the 'disable' and 'enable' console commands, but I need to "select" an item and I don't know how to select a stimpak. 'disable 00015169' for example doesn't work. EDIT: I found the source of the problem. When I downloaded FOOK I did so at the top of the mod page rather from the detailed menus. I had the 'Required files' installed but not the ESMs. I just did that, checked it and the healing effect to the stimpak is back. Solved. Thanks for the quick response anyway!
  2. Absolutely no idea what is causing this. Basically playing on Hardcore mode with A World of Pain, Project Nevada, FOOK and Vicious Wastes (the only ones I think are relevant to this thread as they overhaul several aspects of the game) but basically stimpaks, eating, drinking, etc don't heal me at all. Sleeping in a bed will heal me to full health, but apart from that NOTHING heals me. I think it must be some sort of bug because I'm 20-30 hours into my current playthrough and this has only started happening today. Any ideas gang? Can provide more info if needed.
  3. I don't think there's one yet, but if so, it would be awesome. Just like having your personal iPod, there would be no copyright infringement as everybody has to purchase their own songs from iTunes to use them in the mod.
  4. Have you guys forgotten something? Camp McCarran's airfield is filled with planes. Just re-texture one of them to make it stand out and allow it to be used to go to certain NCR locations if you are liked with that faction for a fee of 100 caps per flight. Remember, the NCR have many faction locations so it would allow good access across the Mojave.
  5. Yes, that's absolutely correct. If you look at Radio Station mods on NewVegasNexus, some people have made attempts to extend the amount of songs played, but if you notice these songs are often older and less famous and well known than the ones we are contemplating.
  6. I am aware of mods that add lots of new songs to the game in FO3 and one or two in New Vegas, but these songs are more old artists rather than the more known and popular like Elvis and Frank Sinatra.
  7. Yes, I suspected it had something to do do with Copyrighting Claims and Infringement, but you have to admit the songs on Radio New Vegas tend to be very repetitive and become boring pretty quickly. I just hope that someone will be able to use some songs from fantastic artists and bands such as Elvis and Frank Sinatra.
  8. Fallout New Vegas was supposed to be specifically designed to fit in with old Western times, the Ratpack Era, and Futuristic elements all common to Fallout. I was dismayed to find that the default Radio Stations had a pathetic selection of songs, aswell as odd references to the King of Rock n' Roll, Elvis himself without any songs to his name. The aim of this request is to result in a great Radio Station with a choice of happy, jazzy positive songs for Mojave Wastelanders to listen to. A New Radio station with a good selection of songs from these artists would be amazing! -Ratpack -Sammy Davis Jr -Frank Sinatra -Dean Martin -Elvis -The Ink Spots and perhaps some bands from Fallout 3 such as Cole Porter, Roy Brown or Bob Crosby. I was severely disappointed that the presence of these artists and their music was almost non-existent except in the names of Quests, and I really hope that someone would be able to design a new Radio Station containing a select choice of fantastic songs from these artists. The Radio would not be required to have voice overs or commentary, as I believe that would simply ruin the realism of it all, as no-one can sound like Three Dawg or loved-up Mister New Vegas. Some song Ideas for the Station ======================== Come Fly With Me - Frank Sinatra Blue Moon - Frank Sinatra One for my Baby - Frank Sinatra Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra Don't Make a Beggar of Me - Frank Sinatra Gentle on my Mind - Dean Martin Sway - Dean Martin Return to Sender - Elvis Presley Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley Always on My Mind - Elvis Presley Don't Be Cruel - Elvis Presley I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire - The Ink Spots If I didn't care - The Ink Spots Mr Bojangles - Sammy Davis Birth of the Blues - Sammy Davis Jr I Ain't Got Nobody - Sammy Davis Jr Please Please PLEASE help to make this mod a reality, as I think it would be BRILLIANT, and a mod many people would enjoy. If you have any other ideas for Songs or Artists to be used, please post them!
  9. Bethesda did a better job of the storyline than Obsidian and I kind of agree, New Vegas was way too easy, predictable and generally narrowly thought up. The map seems a lot smaller, there seem to be less mobs, and it's very much like a simple dot-to-dot. Meh, it was okay but frankly, I think FO3 was better.
  10. I think the MQ has to be kept, but I still agree about the fact that exploring on New Vegas was rapidly diminished, and they should have made the MQ harder anyway. The land itself is much smaller that FO3 and it is very easy to get around.
  11. To be honest you wouldn't really need to make specific social experiments. The human race has one massive flaw: Greed. Some other vaults from FO3 did these things: Vault 101: The experiment was to test the role of the Overseer and observe its effects Vault 87: Horrible experimentation with the FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus) conducted on its inhabitants. Vault 106: Psychoactive drugs released into the air filtration systems, driving the inhabitants insane. Vault 92: The cover was to "preserve musical talent". In reality, White Noise was used to hopefully turn the residents into stronger hypnotized super soldiers. The noise drove people insane, and turned them crazy as they ripped residents apart.
  12. Am I the only one who thinks: -Radio New Vegas kinda sucks -Galaxy News Radio from FO3 was much better -There should be much more Ratpack music in Radio New Vegas, like there was supposed to be. What is your favorite radio station? Why? Which ones do you guys prefer? I don't like Radio New Vegas very much, it would be much better if there was much more music from the Ratpack Era, like there was supposed to be. But I also love GNR so much, Three Dawg is the most awesome ever and I love the tunes on GNR too.
