  1. Hello, a couple of years ago I began working on a mod that fundamentally changed the combat and encounter dynamics of F:NV. I had to stop as I had no time for gaming anymore but now I'd like to give it another shot. I've both Googled and searched the forum for an answer to this but came up empty - do excuse me if this question has been answered before, as I'm sure it must have. Here is what I aim to achieve: Upon launching a new game either be given a preset character or go through the character creation process (not the talky doctor, rather a quick and easy one) then find myself in a blank world, one I can build upon as I go along - I want to use F:NV's assets, but not modify its world - rather create my own from scratch. How might I go about doing this? Thank you in advance for your answers.
  2. Concerning scale one could simply create a bunch of small areas (like those in FO1), fast travel would be used to travel to distant locations and we'd get interrupted by random encounters again. Sure it'd take quite a bit of coding, but it doesn't sound as difficult as creating the whole coast. Also, since the scale of each area would be smaller we'd be able to put more in them -- I'd really really love to fight in actual ruins again, neither FO3 nor NV gave me that opportunity. I'd definitely play this. Necropolis! Mmmmmm
  3. Thought I'd drag this post back to the top instead of creating a new one, I'd really appreciate a mod that would make my NPC's wounds not vanish the second I finish combat. It's actually the reason I didn't use them during this play through, it just feels a lot like cheating even on very hard / hardcore. Is anyone onto this?
