  1. Here's my two cents! But what is the gleam widget?
  2. I am missing the texture for the Orchish crossbow. At some point, I have had three different crossbow mods installed (serially not concurrently) but when uninstalled, the omission continues to exist. How would I go about getting it back? Edit: In point of fact, the crossbow texture was still missing while all of these mods were installed. So I am assuming that the missing texture must be a vanilla texture.
  3. Something that has always bothered me about Skyrim is the piddly traps. After the first several levels, many verge on 'harmless'. I have been looking for some trap improvement mods to remedy this. Different mods do this in different ways. Some change the damage inflicted, some change the physics, add poisons and diseases contracted when stabbed by them, one causes a visible shaking of the PC. Another changes the way that soul gem casting traps can be disabled (throwing objects or arrows), while another allows the PC to swap objects on pedestal traps (ala Indiana Jones), one enables coin bags to actually trigger the traps when removed (apparently this was overlooked by the authors of the game). And which of these are compatible? I don't want to install a mess of small mods to get the range of effects that might be available. Any suggestions the community might have I would appreciate.
  4. I want to know if there is a mod that allows the player to clear, and then occupy, a camp with his own side's soldiers after the Civil War quest line is complete. As it stands now, you cannot kill the camp commander, and the soldiers respawn in your enemy's livery. The winning side's king tells you to go clear the camps, but in fact this cannot be done. I could see how small splinter groups of soldiers could persist in hiding, only to pop up later and be squashed like bugs, but they should never have an easy to find camp. They need to hide out in sympathizers homes, outbuildings, caves, holes in the ground, and in heavy vegetation somewhere. Edit: If such a mod is not available, anyone want to make one?
  5. I was able to open the door, but it opens into a small cubicle with a very high ceiling. It opens with a load screen rather than opening directly into the space.
  6. I ran across this door in blackreach, and can't seem to find anything about it at UESP or Googled on the net. Anyone know anything about it?
  7. Will Mod Manager work with both Morrowind and Skyrim, as well as Oblivion?
  8. Damn... I really wish that the modding community would just get on the same page. NMM works very well for all the mods I use in Morrowind and Skyrim. What is the problem with Oblivion modders? For that matter, why isn't Nexus making NMM compatible with omods? And if the modders know that NMM can't install them, why do they have a "Download with NMM" button to install them? Is there any reliable way to convert omods for use in NMM? At least some of them, it appears that just a rearrangement of the files in the omods should get them to work, but others seem to be strange. No idea how those may work.
  9. I am installing mods in my Oblivion game, but there are a number of them which refuse to install using NMM, even though I used the NMM button at Nexus. When I run NMM, an error window titled "Mod loading error" pops up and lists the following mods: Harvest Flora HUD Status bars Keychain Lost Paladins of the Divines Map Marker Overhaul SM Plugin Refurbish Opening them manually, they appear to all have one thing in common... they are omods. Is there something I am doing wrong, or does NMM not install omods?
  10. I inadvertently installed Morrowind in my Oblivion directory. I quickly discovered the error, but not before I had run NMM. I uninstalled and deleted directories for both and then reinstalled them. Nevertheless, when I run NMM for Morrowind, it still looks for Morrowind.esm in the Oblivion's directory, and when not found, refuses to run. I have rerun the search for games process, it finds them in the correct directories, I check the green check, but still looks in the wrong place when run for Morrowind. Any suggestions as to how I can correct this?
  11. Tony, It looks like I have been working with some outdated info. The video says to download the "latest binary" (which happens to be 0.304) and then his own preset (M ENB). But the problem I could be having is that M ENB is not 0.304 compatible. When just set up as an ENBoost only configuration (without a preset), my former FPS returns to normal. When set up this way, I get a red message displayed during the load screen: "PatchSpeedhackENBoost turned on in the ENBLocal.ini, graphic modification disabled." I assume this means that it is running an ENBoost only configuration. I also find that the editor accessed using the Shift/Enter keys is not available (and expect it should not be since I have no preset settings to tweak). For the moment, I think I am satisfied with what I have. ApolloDown said I needed ENBoost, not an ENB, so I feel safe trying out his behemoth mods. If things don't work out, I might be back.
  12. Because I'd like to install ApolloDown's Dragon Combat and Civil War mods, I wish to install some things that he says are required, among which is an ENB. I followed, to the letter, the video tutorial found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHCYoVB8P_Y#! ... or at least I thought I did it to the letter. But when I activate this feature, it slows by fps rate from a healthy 40 to 60 down to 5 to 10. Do any of you have any experience in troubleshooting ENB's ? I have Windows 10 64 bit, SKSE, and SSME installed on my setup. DLC Hi-resolution Graphics Pack, DragonBorn, DawnGaurd, HearthFire, and updated with Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch, and Unofficial Hi-resolution Patch. Other installed mods are near 65 or so. AMD Phenom II QuadCore 3.0ghz processor 2x Nvidia 9500 GT 1gb VRAM in SLI configuration 8 gb SDRAM "Available video memory" 4gb
