  1. So i've tried merging the patch by itself, choosing a custom merge location and even changing the game directory to C drive and i still get the same error.
  2. So i'm getting the access denied error even when i use a custom location (C:\temp) while merging only the patch without any mods. Its late now so tomorrow i'm going to try changing my DAI directory to C drive and let you guys know what happens.

  4. Is the current version of mod manager not compatible withthe latest patch? My patch version comes up to be 11 in mod manager Btw the complete error im getting is " Exception message: Access to the path 'X:\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch_ModManagerMerge\Data\cas_99.cas' is denied.Source: mscorlibTarget: Void WinIOError(Int32, System.String) StrackTrace: at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at DAIModManager.MainWindow.PrepareDirectory(String directoryName, ModJob basePatchModJob, Dictionary`2 modResources, String patchDataPath, DAIToc& layoutToc) at DAIModManager.MainWindow.BGWorker_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnDoWork(DoWorkEventArgs e) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.WorkerThreadStart(Object argument) "
  5. I've used it before. The path is correct; the merged folder even shows up in the patch directory.
  6. Whenever i try to merge mods with ModManager i get the foloowing error "Exception message: Access to the path 'cas_99.cas' is denied. Source: mscorlibTarget: Void DeleteHelper(System.String, System.String, Boolean, Boolean)" Any help would be appreciated.
  7. Is it possible to play the well know large quest mods one at a time by installing one, playing it, then unistalling and installing other? If yes, do I need to do some additional tasks when unistalling one to install another - except using wrye bash to clean save game files? thank you.
  8. recently I reinstalled oblivion, having already played it through once, when I discovered that there were plenty of awesome mods for the game. Needless to say I'm new to mod management, though I've read upon the topic in detail I intend to use only quest mods except for OOO. I downloaded most of the best and largest quest mods out there ( both fr oblivion and morrowind ). But of course I can't run all of them at once. I thought maybe install one, play through it then uninstall and repeat this process for all of them. Will this approach work or will it create problems with dirty saves? If yes, then any other suggestions? Also should I use OBMM or wrye bash for installing & managing mods?
