  1. Hey guys, some questions here. Answer what you can, but bonus points if you manage to respond to everything! Combat I used to play with deadly combat for a long time. When i got the news that Duel had a hardcore version I switched to that and must say it's pretty good! However, i've also been looking at two ther options, but they leave me with some questions. . 1. Ultimate combat: This seems to do a lot of changes to AI. I'm already using enemy AI overhaul though, wich I think it's absolutely great. Would these two mods confilct with eachother? And also, seeing as this mod is pretty new and hasn't had that many updates; how well is this belanced compared to DUEL? 2. Duke patrick's: This is only availabe on TES alliance. It seems people complained a lot about script lag, but according to the auther it's not much of an issue if you follow the installation guide.. Still it seems like a lot of hassle.Are there any people that use this? What would be an advantage compared to other combat mods? Scaling So, end game is pretty lame. Both the SkyRe scaling module and High levels enemies seems to be able to fix this, according to their descriptions. really i'm just curious to people's objective experience with both mods. It seems pretty impossible to tell wich is better at this point. I might have also missed another scaling mod, in that case please mention it and tell me why it's perfect! Personally I kinda dislike HLE because it seems very likely to conflict with other mods. Then again, I don't really like the idea of enemies always scaling . . I'd like to have a point in the game where something like a bandit will actuelly be harmless to me. Encounter zones I've been playing with the SkyRe module for encouner zones for a while. I have to say though that I don't really notice that much of a difference. I've been looking at Skyrim Scaling stopper, and i'm intrigued, but I really don't like the changes to the item lists, or the really really randomness of it. Still, if people can convince me it's much better, i might give it a try. I also recently notices that SkyRealism has it's own encounter zone module now as an optional file. Does anyone have any experience with this? It actuelly sounds good, but the lack of description makes it a bit vague. Is there anyone that could tell me more about this?
  2. Hey guys, I really hope someone is able to help me with this graphical bug. It's just driving me crazy.. I'll start off with some backstory. Basically I just started playing again. Been messing around with mods, enb's, ini files and whatnot. At some point however - by the time i actuelly wanted to start playing - I noticed this bug. You can see it happening in the attached files, but i'll also try to explain it in as much detail as possible. I've numbered the screenshots to make it more clear. 1. Basically at this point I enter this dungeon. This happens to be embershard mine, though I don't believe the location matters much. 2. I move a few steps inward. Suddenly a torch that was situated to the left starts radiating light. It wasn't doing this before. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME i get close to a torch. 3. Once activated however, the torch keeps lit. You can see that i've taken a few steps backwards and the light is still radiating. I've tried looking up the problem, and eventually came accros the light pop-in bug wich wa apperantly well known and caused by ultiple lightning mods being activated at the same time. So i tried to fix this with the ini adjustment (fflickeringlight something) but without luck! In my frustration i've disabled every mod I have, completely reinstalled my game via steam, deleted the ini files in my documents and even changed my driver profile (Catalyst) back to default. None of this helped! I'm so frustrated at this point. Can anyone please tell em what the hell is going on with my game! Thanks in advance.
