  1. Hey everyone and anyone Ive made a texture for combat armor and it works fine in GECK and in game...Just one annoying problem... The shadows the texture shows is retarded please check the photo attached to this post and see what i mean... The texture shows so i have it in the right location, i think it might have to do with photoshop but i cant see how, i save as a .dds and have the nvidia dds format as defult DXT1 RGB 4 bpp | no alpha, 2D texture and MIP Generation set to generate MIP maps. Any ideas / solutions to this minor yet really annoying problem i have, would be awesome I want to have it working properly so I can release the mod Its just a simple combat armor texture mod which has AUSCAM for a bit of eye candy
  2. Thanks heaps wogz187 your info was very helpful. just wondering if you or any one else could help me with my texture mod. It works fine except that the texture when viewed from different angels will not properly shade and shows up bright i also notice this in GECK's preview window for example the shading isn't forming correctly and shows some part in full light when in fact its in the shade... any ideas? any help would be awesome
