No i've scaned my computer with both of my anti-virus programs (avast and mcathy) and there isnt anything, i've cleaned all the inside of it and again nothing and the only thing that has changed was i installed awakening, (i have since un-installed it and all my other games and it still doesn't work)

well actually i got till dragon age 2 comes out :D hi didnt really know where else to ask, as i've moved to a new city for university and i havent found a new tech guy yet, So my laptop was running games perfectly less then a week ago, its a studio dell with a high end graphics/video card (can be arsed to find the exact one unless its really vital), 500 gb on the hard drive and 4gb of ram, last week it was running dragon age and all my other games perfectly, this week i've been having really bad lag problems, i thought it might be as i overloaded it with MODs but i have deleted them all, uninstalled all the DLC and everything and it still lags, then i unistalled Dragon age, and tried assassins creed (had it in my steam library) and thats laggin just as bad when it ran perfectly when i played it last (just b4 chirtsmas) i've got no idea what it could be, so i came here for help (to be honest i just need it to be back to working order for when Dragon age 2 comes out! thanks in advance people. p.s i know everyone likes to point the finger at laptops or say how high is the specs, i know a fair amount about computers (am a computer animator... in training) it runs the 3d softwear fine, all the adobe suit fine, its just as soon as a game is on its started being s***, and i know that this isnt a 'your specs arnt high enough problem.

Ha yeh, re-downloading Dragona ge was like the first thing i did when i goot my laptop back and working... even b4 re-installing the software i need to use on my university degree... maybe not the most sensible course. but yeh i've looked for the console commands and cant seem to find them, and i plan on just using the basic clothing to add a bit more of a challenge for me. Thansk for the reply tho, i've heard a few times about this winter forge tho so i may have to have a look.

hi so i wanna play the game through with just mods that you have to earn, and armour you buy, but i want to start from flemthes hut with only basic cloths/rags and the basic iron sword/mace/axe and shield (i like the one you get from killing the ogre so i shall keep that one) now the only thing i need really is some commoner clothing, but unless your a dwarf or city elf you cant get any at this point! so can anyone point me in the direction of some commoner cloths mods? also any mods that ou have to earn through game play would help (have a few but not many)

yeh i had to re-install the entire game after my hardrive failed and i was so happy i could come here and find them again quick snap!. New question though, are there any good place/mod that are just like commoner clothing? because i want to do a play through where i just use mods that i can claim in game later (like the armour of the devout taht you can choose to find in a chest in the urn of adrasta) and armour you buy, but from when flemth saves you i want to be just wearing commoner clothing with really basic swords and no money, and make it though like i have to build it up again. so yeh any good commoner clothing mods?

hi guys i've had dragon age for about two months now and got into modding about a month ago and when i first looked i saw this set of armour re-tints that change the coulour of dragon bone and red steel etc but i didnt download it (dont know why i didnt) but im really trying to find it now and cant seem to find it anywhere, dont suppose i can get any help? thanks in advance
