  1. OK, so I've gotten it to work, it seems like Flintlock Pistol was the problem (wtf?)
  2. The driver specifically said it's meant to run Skyrim better, and everything I've read keeps saying to make sure you have the latest drivers installed... Just tried using no mods and no plugins besides the main one, still same thing.
  3. This may be of some use, found it in my skyrim.ini SGeneralMasterMismatchWarning=One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information. I don't have any "warnings.txt" file that it refers to however.
  4. uGrids aren't the problem. Yes it happens to all my saves. I'm using a lot of mods but I'll list the ones that could possibly be doing something. Superb ENB- RL Enhanced Distance Terrain Fores Idles Vurts Flora Realistic Smoke and Embers Sky UI (with skyboost) W.A.T.E.R. The rest are just some armor textures and weapons. I don't know of the sound fix. Just nothing from the past week or so. I did change the ugrid to 9 a while back but I haven't touched it since, and the game was running fine on 9 before.
  5. Title says it all, Skyrim was randomly crashing (only occasionally), so I decided to update to the latest driver (I use Nvidia Geforce 465). After installing the driver and restarting my cpu, Skyrim immediately CTD when loading a game from the main menu. This is extremely frustrating. I've tried a clean install, verifying cache, etc etc. Any help would be appreciated greatly.
  6. Is it not possible to create a new monster from scratch? Not to belittle anyone's work, but all the "new" monsters I've seen are imported creatures from other games (Witcher 2 mostly), or parts of creatures from Skyrim or other games mixed and matched to create a monster.
  7. I have also done searches on the profile pic and I can 100% say this is a troll who got pics off the internet. The pic is on many adult sites. Probably a prepubescent boy.
  8. This would be great. There is a mod that has a spell which teleports your companion directly next to you (in case they get stuck or fall behind), if you are interested in that.
  9. 99% sure in NPC editor if you set their default outfit to "NONE" and set whatever armor you want them to be wearing as their default inventory items, they will wear it. I'll have to test it though.
  10. Don't need the absorb health :P But thanks. Where did you get the info from if you don't mind me asking?
  11. I'm trying to create the absolute optimal weapons, and I'm not sure how to go about the second enchant for dual wielding. The obvious choice for the first sword would be 36 fire damage (+fire dot) and 36 frost (+stam) as there are no better. But for the second sword, obviously I'm gonna go with the frost again, but for the second enchant, not too sure. Does the dot from the second fire enchant stack with the first weapon's fire enchant dot? The enemy is obviously going to be on fire already from my first sword, so would that make the second dot worthless, or twice as powerful? Please no guesses, I'm looking for someone who knows the actual answer :P For those not familiar with RPGs, dot = damage over time. Thanks a bunch!
  12. I only do 3d modeling for fun every now and then, but wouldn't merging platebodies and legs together to form one piece of armor be pretty simple? I'd imagine the only challenging part would be making the outdated meshes on par with Skyrim's standards.
  13. I mainly used them to carry all those heavy dragon bones and scales, but they turned out to be quite useful for combat too.
  14. ^ I had to get alchemy to create the best weapons and armor, that was the only reason (700 damage warhammer ftw). Aela takes care of the archery stuff, I've decked her out in all +47% archery damage gear and a ridiculously powerful bow. So the archery department is covered. I guess the best build perks haven't been figured out yet :o Unlike Oblivion where everything was cookie-cutter.
