  1. Thanks for the information. As for the mod, here it is: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3252/? - The main mod in question. http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4252/? - The fixpack for the mod in question. Which I later realized is just an entirely new version of the mod, that works better with IA. Derp. Alright, thanks. I'll do that.
  2. It's a floating head. I don't think I'm using any such files. And the problem only appeared after I applied the Fixpack and started a new game. A list of the mods I'm using, right? Alright, but it's really long: Andraste's Weapons 2.0 (Added when I added the Fixpack) Beyond Ferelden Base Chest Extra Dog Slot Add Attribute/Talent/Skill Points via Console Extra Dog Talents Elvhenan Weapons 2.0 (Added when I added the Fixpack) FtG UI Mod 2.1 Grey Warden Runic Armor Leliana Sacred Ashes Armor Morrigan Restoration Patch Nightfall Bloom The Ivory Tower Qwinn DAO Fixpack Skip The Fade Sword of Mercy 2.0 (Added when I added the Fixpack) Two Specialization Points for Sten 9999 Items ADD ANY ITEM VISUAL DELUXE Adonnays Weapon Replacer Console Commands are Visible Baroness Reward Fix Less Pixelation during Cutscenes Blackblade Drop Fix Boob patches be gone bow replacer BSC Zesty for Dialogue Tweaks Busty Armors - Nude CC Extra Tints and Tones CHANGE_EQUIPMENT_MATERIAL Character Creator Pkg - LOTC Clothed Prisoners Autorun and Tab Toggle Epilogue Cutscene Fixes Forced Deathblows Lieutenant Plus Desire Demon Lady of the Forest Retexture Detailed Tooltips Dragon Age Redesigned Dialogue Tweaks Eyebrow Presets Madd Gift Guide Gift Guide - Awakening HD Stubble Presets Improved Atmosphere JB Textures Joining Ritual Fix - Awakening Law and Order Fix LOTC s Character Creator Eyelashes LOTC s Eye Texture More Hairstyles More Options at the Pearl Morrigan Sacred Ashes Trailer Robes Natural Bodies All In One Noble Couslands of Ferelden Noble Couslands of Ferelden Fixpack for IA Pretty Faces Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors Queen Anora Face Morph (from Nobles of Ferelden) Shale Retextured HD Silverite Mines Fix SJCs Lipsticks Moles And Freckles Symmetrical Massive Armor The Last Night With Morrigan The Pearl Redone Tucked Hair ZDF Compatible with Dialog Tweaks
  3. Okay. After adding the Fixpack, I've run into numerous new problems. For instance, Irving's body is now gone, he just appears as a floating head. Based on what I've seen in the discussion thread for IA, people who have this problem also find Flemeth to be gone, and a few other things.
  4. Thanks. Anyway, the bit about Elvhenan was me noting that there's a value for Elvhenan in the Optional folder of Materials of IA, but the game doesn't register it as existing in-game (no actual name).
  5. This forum needs a like button. Thanks for the help, TheErwO_o! You wouldn't happen to have a link to the update, or know where I can find it, would you? Now the only problem I have is that some items in the game have greyed out icons that aren't fixed by The Icons Project, and that Elvhenan doesn't seem to be detected by the game. Should I post a new topic for that, or can we continue using this one?
  6. There's a mod-added Jowan-related UTC file in Improved Atmosphere (well, actually, there are several). I'm not sure if they should conflict, but either way, here are the files involving Jowan in my override folder, .utc and .mor both: ran250cr_jowan_refugee_c.utc bhm100cr_jowan.utc ran250cr_jowan.utc hm_bhm100_jowan.mor bhm100cr_jowan_room_chat_1.utc arl220cr_jowan_escort.utc epi200cr_jowan.utc ran250ar_forest_jowan.utc arl210cr_jowan_corpse.utc Also, how can I open utc files to check if the .mor file is there, and how do I check if the file is corrupt? Hm. Are the .mor files there in the .utc? If they are, apparently there shouldn't be a problem.
  7. Pretty much what it says. Started a heavily modded Human Mage DAO campaign, and every time I've encountered him, Jowan's head is simply not there. While this was amusing at first, at this point it's just plain annoying. I'm aware that it's probably because of a mod clash, but I have no idea precisely what's causing the problem. Can anyone help? So far I searched my override folder for a .mor file involving Jowan that might be causing the problem, but I only found the one in Dragon Age Redesigned. Also, there's one other problem - apparently, the Spellweaver sword doesn't have an icon after using the Improved Atmosphere mod. Is there any fix for it?
  8. Oh, also, you still have to edit the .ini file if you're using a quadcore (or higher) processing system. Otherwise the game will continuously freeze and crash somewhere around the prologue. EDIT: I should point out that after testing the game for quite some time, I can tentatively declare this file download safe. Don't worry about it messing up your system.
  9. Have you tried the method that allowed me to play the game? The one noted in the last few posts?
  10. I have a ... possible method that might work. Now, bear in mind that this isn't 100% safe - maybe 90% or so, though. It worked for me, anyway. Basically, what you do is, you download the d3d9.dll file from the link provided. Then, paste it into the main installation directory of your game (the one that has the actual game file/launcher). If the problem you have is one to do with the video card you have (namely, if it's an integrated, Intel (HD) video card, or any other unsupported video card), then the file in question will make the game read as though you have a supported video card. Again, I repeat - this is NOT necessarily safe. I do not guarantee it, and you should only use it if you feel that playing the game is worth the rather minor chance you take of something going wrong. In fact, I'll post the relevant quote from my own thread about this: Link provided. Credit for this method goes, as mentioned, to eric31415. If you must thank/blame anyone, it's him.
  11. Okay, yeah - the d3d9.dll file addition method worked. Perfectly, at that - I've been playing for some time, and I've yet to see any problems. Given how the file was linked by a member of this site in a thread in this sub forum itself (the title was something like 'Brand new game install', and the link was provided by eric31415), and that the general problems really don't apply (namely, it's not a virus, it's not a bandage for a larger problem, it's not from a dll download site, and it's MEANT to be outdated), I feel comfortable linking it here as a possible solution to the problem. NOTE** This does NOT mean that I consider this perfectly safe, nor am I guaranteeing it's authenticity. I'm simply saying that this COULD work, and if you're frustrated enough (or desperate enough), you might as well try it out. You do so at your own risk, however - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Here: d3d9.dll
  12. Okay, so New Vegas installed fine, and runs perfectly.
  13. In both cases, it says that while the video card itself doesn't meet the requirements, every single sub-part of the video card is significantly above the recommended specs. Basically, it fails to meet the minimal requirements only on the basis of the type of video card. ... Hey, someone was mentioning a way to trick the game to believe that the video card was a supported one, as long as all the video requirements were met. Something about downloading a d3d9.dll file and placing it in the Fallout 3 folder. I'd rather not just download .dll files from the net (there are several associated problems with that method), but there must be something similar to make it work, right?
  14. It says it doesn't meet the minimum requirements. I'd give it more weight if it didn't also say that it doesn't meet the requirements for Skyrim, when in fact I can play that game at High settings perfectly.
  15. That's the one thing I was asking - is the Intel integrated video card completely unsupported for this kind of game? Because Skyrim works fine. If it doesn't work for Fallout 3, you said you remembered a desktop that plays FONV with an integrated Intel video card. If that's true, at least New Vegas should be possible for me to play.
