Well honestly I havent had any problems making custom armors using nif skope when it comes to using branches of other armors and such such as picking up spaulders from daedric currias and placing them on arena raiment. What I am having trouble with is implementing the mesh of from weapons such as the chaoseater mod to an armor as a design mesh instead of a wep. I am able to place it and save the nif and all but when I load the armor in game the weapons do not appear only the pieces of armor I added from other clothes or armor are shown.

thanks for the info this has been real useful :thumbsup: final question,(2 parts, part 1 how does one load vanilla oblivion meshes of regular armor and such as i am trying to edit the arena raiments but I cant find the folder in the meshes or textures section of the data folder. ) im trying to take a mesh of an armor I made using nif skope and add certain aspects like weapons and such hanging from the belts and such so i load a weapon mesh from an existing mod im using to add to the suit as a cosmetic design. But when I wear the armor in game the pieces I added do not appear. I saved it properly and such but the branches I added seem not to appear. Whenever i load the nif itself in nif skope it shows what i added. is there anyway to fix this?

lol that I know, but I cant seem to figure out how to import the exact mesh into blender. Sucks being a newb :laugh: im trying to import the NCR combat gear so that I can mix and match certain pieces of the specific mesh using nif skope with that of the Arena raiment. (Sort of tired of the cold breeze when fighting in the arena XD too showy for my tastes.) Specifically its just mostly the pants and boots im trying to mix up. But thanks for the info, hopefully I can find a decent tutorial soon on how to properly import/export nif files with blender as I cant seem to find the way to do so. :whistling: EDIT: oK So I have been messing around with Nif Skope and see that the nif versions for oblivion are 20.0.2 or something like this but the nif version for the ncr combat armor is 20.07.2 or something, all i really want is the inner part and the shoes is there anyway to reduce the nif version of the shoe branch and torso branch in order to mix the mesh with an oblivion armor lets say like dark brotherhood or something?

Ok well im trying to comvert a new vegas armor mod to oblivion for personal use of course :whistling: but anyway I have encountered a problem converting the nif file it self since in Fallout nif in general is slightly altered compared to that of the Oblivion one I was wondering if anyone has a sort of tutorial as to how to edit this as I am a new comer to modding and such. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Im looking for a mod that adds a sort of Viking esque store that sells mod clothing and such which is located in the mountains somewhere I dont know the name of the mod but I am looking for it so someone please help thanks in advance.

Ok so i am trying to make a custom mod for myself using the tes construction set. The mod specifically consists of a combination of other mods. I am trying to get it to work but every time I save it when i enter the imperial prison where the items are supposed to be they do not appear. I remember back in the day about 2 years ago that you had to i believe merge the prior mods in order to get a mod such as this working i was wondering if someone could help me out with this, thanks in advanced.

Im looking for some Male clothing particularly something that isnt adult content. Something modern looking as well. I am having a hard time finding anything good through the immense and I do mean immense lists of armor mods and clothing mods.

Was I the only person scared the hell out by the DLC Dead money? Cuz those ghost people sure scared the crap out of me. But it got the blood flowing, nothing like having an actual fear reflex during a fight with 5 of them and watch 2 get back up XD. Anyone else feel this way?

yeah vehicles would be nice, especially those motorbikes. But the problems would come across such as, to make it immersive you would have to add a fuel gauge create a fuel supply and places were its natural and maybe add some gas stations 100 caps = half a gallon or something XD. The someone would have to work on the animations of the wheels turning of the player mounting the bike the actually movement mechanic would have to be made from scratch, someone would have to record sound bites of an actual motorcycle many different motorcycles in fact since many people would like choices. Not impossible just not easy.

yeah it wouldnt look bad aesthetically, especially if you animate it in a way where the secondary gun shoots a bit after the main hand gun. It would seem that its a different shot being fired and so it would seem your doing damage to your enemy. Kind of like an illusion just add a firing sound to the secondary weapon have it fire at a slower rate like a 1,2,1,2 sort of thing and bam. No need to work the mechanics. But StradhV is right it would be a lot of work from an individual stand point. The animations would have to be made from scratch and not to mention creating a custom mesh and texture placing the gun in both hands, and of course making sure that the mod doesnt clash with other weapon mods or overhaul mods out there. So basically a lot of work for no pay, just play but playing is so fun.

A fun mod would be a recreation of the Zombie mini game in Call of Duty black ops, adding a small arena where ghouls will constantly spawn in massive waves and attempt to enter the home would be awesome and after each wave a boss reaver appears dropping a key to a better part of the estate. The prob with this idea is that to make it work well climbing animations and mechanics would have to be created for the ghouls to add to the realism of climbing through windows.

Well i was wondering, is it possible to take the new super mutant running animations and transfer them over to the player characters running animation? I ask cause I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing to see your character running much like they do in combat.
