  1. I'm modding some tarps/awnings in to the settlement buildables for a dash of colour Diamond City style. I've got the grey one from Diamond City and a smaller more repeatable one I've made myself in with snap points. What I'd really like to do is have the colour pickable by walking up and pressing E in the same way it is with light boxes (sans the terminal access). So I've been attempting to figure out how they work. Theres a script WorkshopLightboxScript.pex that deals with the if/then stuff. I think this can just be used as is for other stuff... In F04Edit \Activator\WorkshopLightbox01 has a couple of arrays in it. One goes Bright-Normal-Dim, the other Red-Orange-yellow-ect (appears to reference the predefined colours in \Color). The nif of the lightbox has a controller sequence that goes WhiteBright-WhiteNormal-WhiteDim-RedBright-ect and controllers that target the emissive variables. It's quite hard to figure which bit's doing what and where they hook up together... I'm sure I'll fathom it out (or cobble something together that works) eventually but thought I'd check if anyone else knows already.
  2. I think some temporary snappable helpers would be useful when building. C shapes to snap upwards at various heights Corners at various angles 10 degree, 45 degree, ect Spacer blocks maybe a 4th the width of the small block They could be free to build and just flat coloured. You just scrap them when done. I'm a 3D games artist so I can make any shapes required for this if anyone knows how to put them in game fast... Otherwise I'll look into it myself but it might take a while as I've much busy on
