  1. I played Oblivion years ago on my Xbox, and want to play it again but on PC. On Steam the only version available to buy is the GOTY version. Will I still be able to use the mods on Nexus? (I don’t actually know what a GOTY version is lol).
  2. Looks like I either don't use this mod or use a different Mod manager :(
  3. I got it to work with FOMM okay, but am used to Vortex now and would prefer to use Vortex. In the posts on NCO it seems it is only the Vortex users who have this issue.
  4. I have the missing meshes big red square with white exclamation mark when trying to use this mod. It seems others using Vortex have the same issue. (Some have found a workaround manually installing meshes and textures but I don’t know how to do that). It only seems to be an issue with Vortex. I am starting a new game, well trying to lol.
  5. Carefully following Final Render's Guide Fallout 4 Creation Kit - The Basics, I can't even get started editing/modding. I get a page full of Warnings of every description. What should I do? Uninstall and reinstall F4?
  6. Yes; many hours play and (touch wood) no problems.
  7. Everything occurred as normally, the headsman was there and one spectator who wouldn't speak to me saying she was waiting for a traitor to be executed. So I waited a few hours, no change. Left and returned and NPCs were then speaking as though the execution had taken place. Okay, I need to confess that when I changed from NMM to Vortex I somehow managed to download non SE mods, which of course Vortex didn't like (which was why I scrapped it all and started from scratch with Vortex). This was the same time I entered Solitude for the first time. You know, I may just (backup) and delete all my saves and just start over from scratch. Or may not hehe; I'm going to sleep on it. Thing is, since removing Achievements I've had no trouble so am tempted to continue, except that, as you say, I may hit problems further down the line, as you (who clearly knows what they are talking about) say it is unlikely to have been the achievements mod. Oh decisions decisions ......... Just want to add I really appreciate your help, many thanks.
  8. Oh hell  May I pick your brains a little more? At the time I was swapping from NMM to Vortex I tried to import from NMM but ended up with a load of error messages in Vortex. Got into a right old muddle. Since that time I have completely uninstalled Vortex and NMM. I then reinstalled Vortex, installed the mods from Nexus and had no mod issues, just the fast travel one. Around this time was the first time I went to Solitude; the execution sequence did not trigger. Now when I go there, NPCs talk about it having happened. I figured oh well, never mind and played on. Is there any chance that whatever happened with the Solitude thing has led to the fast travel problem? I am praying you don't tell me to go back to a save prior to that as it was many many hours of gameplay ago and I may cry lol.
  9. Just adding my tuppence worth. I hit all sorts of problems importing my mods from NMM, probably because I didn't really understand what I was doing. As I only wanted about 15-20 mods, in the end I just uninstalled NMM and downloaded the mods from Nexus rather than import from NMM.
  10. Taking into account the kind replies above, and having done all the usual uninstall and reinstall, verify files palaver, I figured my next option was the tedious task of removing one mod at a time. The first one I removed was Achievments Mod Enabler as I only have it to help me keep track of what I've done in my new playthrough. So far played 3 hours with no fast travel problems. I don't think it's the mod itself per say as it worked fine before, maybe where it was in the load order in Vortex? Either way, I can totally live without it. Of course, having said this, you know I'll hit the problem again now lol. Thank you both very much :) Imma
  11. No worries Grestorn, I am easily confused lol
  12. Gresthorn thank you for the post, so very detailed. (I confess I will need to read it several times before it sinks in; these things do not come naturally to me. Ah well, we can't all be techwizs  I guess) I didn't think LOOT was needed with Vortex but will add it now. (I used it with NMM). Fingers crossed. Thanks again
  13. SkunkMonkey - yes it happens with Vortex closed :( I assumed it related to Vortex because it never happened before Vortex, and sorting the load order in Vortex would fix it for a while. Oh hell lol
