I found a solution! Hit random buttons until something works. Literally that is all I did. (F4, I think??? mayber alt+f4)

((EDIT: Fixed!) 'Kay so here's the story: i'm running around skyrim with two lovely ladies (Lydia and Zora Fair-Child) and I happen across Valdr. Now, being a helpful Dovahkiin, I give the poor guy a healing potion and agree to help him clear Moss Mother Cavern. I clear that s*** like bad acne. No more spriggans. I go to talk to Valdr, and this is where s*** hits the fan. I can't talk to him. Like, at all. I'm in the dialogue menu, but there're no options, I can't get to the menu, and TAB doesn't work. I've manually hit the button onscreen - no dice. i've spent the last 15 minutes scouring the internet for an answer, but nothing seems to work. Help! :sad:

Your problem is that you are missing ElysiumEstate.esp. You have ElysiumEstate-HF.esp but that plugin needs the main plugin as a master. Go back to the mod page of Elysium Estate and download the main file. Sort your load order with LOOT or place the main ElysiumEstate plugin ABOVE ElysiumEstate-HF.esp. Hope this helps. ... there lives an obsessive nerd that has next to no social life. Hi there! I'm the one and only blotchscotch and I'm brand-new (here at least. As far as I am aware, I was not born yesterday.)! I enjoy long walks on the beach and chocolate fondue and going on various murder sprees. LOL JK. I hate going outside and chocolate is just not my thing. If I got within stabbing distance of someone, that would be a miracle in and of itself. People IRL terrify me. I've been playing Skyrim for a little over a month, and holy sh*t, am I loving it. I just... Words cannot describe how awesomely fabulous this game is omg. Here are some interesting (but unnecessary) facts about yours truly: ~ I am an asexual dragon (holla holla) ~ ADD represent! ~ I rarely leave my room because I am an incompetent asocial f*ck ~ I hate olives, pickles, onions, and having dry/dirty feet ~ I have one kitty uwu ~ I want to/Know how to build a computer, but money is tight and I can only dream of the perfect gaming rig ;A; ~ I am much more social online than IRL That's about it. So essentially my problem is that as soon as the game gets passed the whole boom boomboomboom Bethesda start screen, I see the Imperial dragon symbol, and then bam! my screen goes black and I'm suddenly back at my desktop. This is really confusing and rather frustrating and I've done all the research I can and I have literally tried everything, including one mod at a time to see if it was just one (it's all of them) and completely uninstalling and reinstalling Skyrim. I operate on Windows 8 (complete sh*t, lemme tell you) ~ I am completely up to date with all patches ~ I've only been playing Skyrim for a month, so I am still a bit lost when it comes to mods ~ My load order is as follows: -Dawnguard.esm -HearthFires.esm -Dragonborn.esm -TakeNotes.esp -ElysiumEstate-HF.esp ~ I think I've forgotten something, but idk what so just tell me if I'm missing any info I'd appreciate any help, but particularly from people who have had and solved this problem before.
