So here's the gist of my problem, I got this modded pistol. It's essentially the vanilla 9mm retextured, and I wanted to beef it up a bit to make it more practical towards the endgame, without having to set some rediculous base damage value. And before you all start telling me to just download the selectfire mod, I wanted to make this 1. Triburst ONLY, 2. it's own seperate mod. I have done a bit of digging and I think that this can only be accomplished through scripting, but after going through dozens of tutorials I have yet to find one that deals with scripting an item directly. Direct Help would be much appreciated, but if you happen to know where I could find a tutorial that pertains to this please let me know.
