  1. I read thru the first 60 or so pages of this as I stumbled across what I think is this same or very similar issue over the previous weekend. I have been rebuilding my mod list from scratch after being away from the game for a couple of years or so. I took a peak at the last few pages and realized just how long this thread really carried on over such a length of time with so much feedback and opinions on troubleshooting issues. I didn't want to skip to the end right away as I figured It could be beneficial to read thru most of it. I did try the linked fix near the end of this and sure enough it did solve my issue as well. I am so glad I came across this thread and I greatly applaud and appreciate the thoughts, tips, advice and troubleshooting steps that were brought up by everyone here. Thank you to everyone that contributed to this thread.
  2. So I'm trying to troubleshoot and pinpoint why I have some custom and even vanilla npc followers who should normally be using whatever body type I've got running ingame on skyrim special edition. The mods I have in place are first WICO w/the UNP nude variation, then I overwrote the body type with UNP Blessed. This however seems to not be affecting all vanilla npc followers/npcs or some custom followers I have that didn't come with their own body type but instead used whatever I have in game. What I'm trying to find out is if there is a way to manually create or add something in a file or directory somewhere to force at least the custom followers into a specific body type.(In the case of the custom followers I have already checked in my meshes/textures location and some of these don't have their own entries so I can't simply drag and drop the body type i want in.) I'm at quite a beginner level when it comes to trying to edit/tweak around with mods so if someone would be willing to assist or point me in a general direction it would be appreciated :)
  3. I'll check on the hash check part n such after work. It's just weird as I ran long war fine from the get go on my othe rig, prolly why this caught me by surprise. Thanks for the input and I'll also see about checking the other forum section
  4. I just built a new gaming rig over the weekend and after re installing xcom/enemy within and the latest Long War patch upon trying to load the game it just loads into a black screen. I can't alt tab out or use ctrl/alt/del. All I can do is force reboot the whole pc. I've tried the troubleshooting options. The game loads fine as just the vanilla version tho.
  5. Ah ok, much appreciated :) Can I re-edit these values in the file for an existing save or will it really only work on a new game?
  6. I had found the answer to this at one point back when I first discovered the Long War mod and was playing around with adjusting things for a new game of Enemy Within but I find myself unable to find the original spot I saw the answer to my question. At one point I had found where in the DefaultGameCore file to go to adjust the % of the different nationalities appearing when hiring new soldiers. I thought it was somewhere using "weight" as the search option to find the section in the file. If i'm wanting to adjust this for use during EW: Long War which file path should I be using? Sorry for starting a fresh topic on this but Ive tried digging around a few times and can't seem to find where I saw it the first time. Thanks in advance.
