What if we could harvest hide,carapace, etc from animals and make armor out of it? We could use molerat/mongrel dog/brahmin/radstag hide to make normal leather armor Mirelurk carapace to make mirelurk plate armor Radscorpion carapace could make rad resistant scorpion armor Deathclaw hide could make heavy leather armor. These were the main ones I had in mind but I'm sure there could be other armor types.

Note: I actually thought this up before I played dead money, but yes there are similarities, but to be honest I feel that makes it all the more appealing to those who enjoyed dead money. Tricked and ambushed, by a distress call from A supposed unknown vault you are kidnapped and taken underground to A large mysterious and dangerous labyrinth. First you are promised A reward of the ownership of your very own self sustained vault, with everything you could ever want, but in the end maybe all you will really want is to see the sun again. The labyrinth is mostly made of many layers of sewers and many caves/mines, it is crawling with dangerous enemy's that are also trapped, and hungry. Deadly traps and obstacles are around every corner. Supplies, weapons, ammunition and armor are scarce and usually poor in condition. And if you thought that was hard enough, while you were unconscious you were injected with a powerful drug that has permanently drained/changed your stats, that is, unless you can find the antidotes. will you see the sun again?
