In the quest, " The Path of Knowledge" where you have to speak to the dark elf about the black books, when I enter his house and press "E" to float up, my character just stands there and won't float to the top of his house. I've tried multiple times and my character never floats up. I've tried holding down "E", tapping it, jumping, but to no avail. I can't proceed with the main quest of this DLC because of it. Has anyone else experienced this, is there any way to fix it to proceed? Please help!

Hey guys/gals, I cannot complete the hired muscle quest for the companions where I have to intimidate Birina (spelling?) because she is the Jarl of Dawnstar and there's no dialogue option to brawl so I can't complete it. I think its because I completed the Reunification of Skyrim quest and it replaced the Jarl with her since shes not a stormcloak and I guess the original Jarl was. Can anyone confirm this? I'm certain I can complete it using the console but I'm not sure which code to input. Any help would be appreciated.
