  1. Thanks for your input on this issue. I was a bit apprehensive about even broaching the subject since there were a multitude of others who were making the same please for aid re: Windows 10. After reading through so many of them it became obvious to me that each person was experiencing different issues at the outset. It seems that was also the case with you as well. I'm certain that it would be no different for me. I use my PC at home for both work and play. To that end I've been musing over the idea of taking my internal hard drive out an making it an external hard drive. I'd be replacing it with a larger disk that is Windows 10 OS and it could serve as my internal drive. (Many of my work related applications are moving to W10 - so at some point I'll have no choice but to make the switch - Ugh!!!) I'd covet your thoughts about my idea. Thanks and best regards, Jeffrey.
  2. I was hoping to get some guidance for getting FO3 to run under Windows 10. Is there a topical reference to that end here on the forum that includes detailed instructions? Thanks and best regards.
  3. I REALLY want to be positive about this newest incarnation but, I can't do that. It's causing may game to crash during the opening credits.
  4. Hi folks. I'm keenly interested in this topic/thread as I too am having the very same issues with running FO3 on my new system. If anyone is still monitoring this topic - I have several questions regarding FO3 and the i7 multi-core processor: 1. Will the alterations to the ini file resolve the multi-core bug? 2. Is it absolutely essential to move the FO3 folder out of Program Files and into a Gmaes File? On an unrelated note; I installed Interplay's Fallout/Fallout2/Fallout Tactics on my new machine and, hey . . . wonder of wonders - they all run flawlessly. Go figure . . . Anyway . . . . if anyone is still watching this thread I could really use the help. Thanks everyone.
  5. @Sarissi: I'm somewhat new to all of this . . . can you advise me as to where I'll find the laa.exe file? Thanks
