Shalom dear nexus community, Whenever I try to log in with vortex I get a "failed to get access key"- message. after clicking "more" and then "show details" it says: Error: self signed certificate in certificate chain at TLSSocket.<anonymous> (_tls_wrap.js:1103:38) at emitNone (events.js:106:13) at TLSSocket.emit (events.js:208:7) at TLSSocket._finishInit (_tls_wrap.js:637: :cool: at TLSWrap.ssl.onhandshakedone (_tls_wrap.js:467:38) this still happens after closing and reopening the program, and even after multiple reinstalls.. can someone send help? twould be much appreciated :smile:) EDIT: I was at the time logged in on the website on both Chrome and firefox, and had also either one of them set up as standard browser, with no change in results. 2nd EDIT: The problem was with Kaspersky AntiVirus not allowing some apps and programs internet access... I feel kinda stupid now haha :/ sorry for bothering you guys before even figuring that out lol... well, now its fixed at least. also sorry for two threads on the same topic, I thouhgt there was an error withthe first one so I wrote it again~

Shalom dear Nexus Community, since I first installed Vortex (few months ago I think) it is unable to log in with my nexus account. I too have the same Issue, coming up right after I talk to Sturges the first time after arriving Sanctuary (I am not sure if that is important to know tho). Uninstalling HUDFramework and DEF_UI did not help it... I run a heavily modded game, but with only a minimalistic defui preset and some stuff in the mcm, nothing messing with my pipboy menus (except I had pip pad installed when this glitch occurred first, but also properly uninstalling that did not change anything...) Also, pipboy retextures should also not be responsible, should they? I'd be reallyy happy if there is someone having a clue.. Until now it's just ~annoying~ but I fear, as rapid as the flickering is, I'll soon be unable to select specific quests that I have to scroll down to to reach them in the menu... ~~much love!

Heyho guys, this is some really strange bug/glitch I have in Fallout: New Vegas. I was near Goodsprings when suddenly, I did not fall from anywhere, it just happened without any reason, one of my legs got crippled. Not bad enough, after I used a Doctor's Bag the limb health indicating bar went to full but the leg was still marked as crippled, in the pip boy aswell as next to my health bar. My Character also walks like she has a leg crippled, is unable to sprint (PN Sprint Mode) and walks instead. Now the weirdest of all: There was no possibility to heal that limb. I used three Doctor's Bags, on the leg aswell as the overall body, visited two Doctor's who did healing (because they probably detected a crippled limb) but afterwards it remained crippled and not even the cheaty console command "player.resethealth" worked... Did I mention that the limbcondition meter being at full health remains unchanged even when I fall from unsave heights, which force my other leg to cripple? Maybe this has sth to do with a mod, Improved Regen Implant (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35349/?) that makes the Health Regen Implant from Doctor Usanagi heal more HP and even Limb DMG, which I installed recently and deinstalled after this glitch occured. Sadly the deinstallation did not help... EDIT: Completely reinstalling game and mods didn't help either... Any help is appreciated :smile: I hope one can find a solution for this.. Again thank You for your answer, I've completely de- and reinstalled all my interface mods and now everything works fine! Now there is just a little error with oHUD as it does not seem to be installed properly but I'll certainly fix this myself soon :smile: Your precise advices have been very helpfull though, I really appreciate your kindness regarding the time you took to help me! Thanks for your answer, Yes the black screen occurs in place of the main menu text, I mean after the Obsidian/Bethesda/"Please Stand By" screens, when this ranger should appear and "continue/load/etc" there is just this blackscreen. I actually have installed MCM, UIO, oHUD and Primary Needs Hud, all in this order. Then I have a loading screen and main menu screen replacer but this I have since 3 months so I don't think that to be a problem. Other mods which probably have XML files are Flashlight NVSE, Hitmarker (I've installed these two just some days ago), and Project Nevada. Hey ho guys, I have a really strange bug in this game which is not mentioned in any forum I visited yet, if someone knows the following issue and may offer help I'd be really glad. Ok so the thing is every time I start Fallout New Vegas at first everything seems to be normal, but at the point the actual main menu should appear the screen gets black. But the game does not crash. Weirdest part: sounds occur, while the main menu theme is still playing, as if I started a new game (in fact it's the sounds playing when waking up at DocMitchell in the very beginning) and I get messages that my DLCs are loaded. But after these messages disappear the screen remains black with only my health bar and AP bar visible, so it's not crashed or froze. I can't access any ingame menu. As I said this all happens at the very time the main menu should occur, which I find even stranger. There is no way for me to play the game... EDIT: This happened for the first time yesterday after I accidently launched the game via 4GB Loader twice at a time. I have tried to reinstall the game and used the steam launcher aswell as the 4gb, deavtivated all my mods/plugins (130 in total. But there is nothing wrong with load ordner since I did not change anything there and it always worked fine until yesterday, when this bug occured the first time) but I couldn't help it. There are no threads in any forum I visited describing the very same problem so idk what do do... If anyone has ideas to solve this I'd very appreciate <3 Thanks for reading this and ofc thanks alot for any help provided!
