Didn't help. I tried limiting my framerate with the Inspector without an ENB to 45fps (to simulate the problematic situation) and it didn't seem to help, so the ENB probably isn't to blame either. I do have 2K textures installed ... I'm gonna try disabling everything later today and limiting my framerate again to see what happens. I mean, I'd been gaming at 30fps all my life up until a year ago, but I feel like I'm going crazy and can't remember what framerates well under 60fps feel like anymore, haha Thanks for the help so far, will report back

Hey everyone, I've got this problem - whenever my framerate dips below approximately 50fps, the whole game becomes a stuttering mess. Happens with vsync off, too. If I cap the game with ENB's GUI to 30fps, it becomes literally unplayable (while in reality 30fps should be very playable). I find it odd that it doesn't happen when dipping below 60fps (e.g. to 56fps), since I have a 60Hz monitor...maybe the ENB framerate counter is not too accurate? Either way, I'd like to resolve this instead of disabling mods to give me a stable 60fps+ on my GTX970. Any ideas? Thanks a lot & merry Christmas! P.S. My VRAM usage when playing Skyrim is below 3GB (according to GPU-Z), so the "3.5GB VRAM" problem of the GTX970 isn't to blame here

Hi, thanks for trying to help! I do have that DirectX runtime installed, as it was one of the first fixes for this problem that I've tried. For whatever reason, v0.279 (the latest one) works now, but only up until loading a save, same as before. What I did find out is that it only seems to fail to load a save in the exterior of Skyrim ... I tried loading a save in Breezehome and it worked, but when I tried walking out of the house, it crashed. I still can start a new game, so exteriors aren't completely unfunctional ... really odd. And v0.262 crashes Skyrim even before the Bethesda logo and I've had DVR disabled for a long time (since I have shadowplay). Any ideas? UPDATE: v0.279 doesn't work again, 277 does as it did before, so I still can't really load

Hello, since upgrading to Windows 10, all ENB versions give me a CTD before the Bethesda logo except for v0.277, which gives me a CTD after attempting to load a save. I can start a new game, though. Re-installed Skyrim through Steam, so no mods. I do have Dragonborn DLC and the offical texture pack "DLC". Thanks!
