Hello. I recently got the Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition. Comes with all 7 DLC and is patched up to 1.04 the latest. After about 5 minutes of playing in Ostagar and the Kocari Wilds, the game drops framerate. On the origins the game doesn't have a problem as much. I did some forum searching and found out about a common bug with the patches, the game has a memory leak. I tried assigning priority and affinity with task manager, gives me more time before the slow frames but it still happens after 10-15 minutes. This issue makes the game nearly unplayable. I know my comp can run DA:O on max settings, I had the game before without patches or DLC. I'm making the post to see if anyone has any answers besides waiting for an official fix from Bioware. If anyone knows a mod that fixes this issue I'd greatly appreciate your help. Interesting observation: A friend of mine is using a Intel 7 processor while I'm using a Dual Core. We have the same ram, 6gb. It seems having more processing power helps but eventually he gets the framerate slow as well. It doesnt happen as quickly to his game.
