  1. So it's been a while since we've been without that extra speed boost. It didn't feel that broken, and I'm still wondering why it was removed. You had to spend some gems just to access them. If anyone out there could make a quickie mod to un-nerf all of the gold star speed boosters, that would be much appreciated by myself and possibly many others. I'd do it myself, but the whole modding thing makes my brain spin.
  2. Just a fun little mod request. If anyone with great skill in 3D models would like to undertake this, I thought would be neat to see a special variant of T60 power armor modeled after the famous Optimus Prime. I'm sure plenty of people out there would love to see something so nostalgiac. Perhaps leaving the set in 35 Court so we have even more of a reason to go there? I dunno, just a fun thought, I guess. Could be entertaining to feel like a hulking robot.
  3. What isn't, stranger from the internet?
  4. I've had this unusual mod idea for a while now, and eventually got around to posting this. So, what does F4 seem to be lacking? Some of the weirdnesss present in previous games. Such as a stranger appearing in VATS in place of the usual gunslinger and whirling a sombrero at his target, accomplishing something before vanishing. Maybe you just did it for the nice hat, or maybe you seek that "wth" moment during gameplay that makes you wonder why you downloaded the mod. Or maybe you loved the Wild Wastelend trait in New Vegas and wanted to see some of that weirdness again. Long story short, the Mexican Stranger is there to try lending a hand, by whirling a harmless sombrero at things before vanishing with a guitar rift. Surely, there's someone out there willing to undertake this oddity.
  5. When I first got the Far Harbor DLC, I was amazed by the intense level of detail Bethesda was able to fit in on one small island, and the storyline that came along with it. But when I discovered that only one faction had a companion, I was a little bummed. Why is the only companion an old gruff hunter? It was a shame that unlike the Commonwealth, Far Harbor didn't have their own companion from the local "evil" faction. This companion idea, of course, is the the one you read on the thread. Grand Zealot Richter. A Zealot of the Children of Atom, ever devoted to His glow, he could have made quite an interesting companion. Many he could call brother or sister, but few he could call a friend. A reminder of his older days in a familiar organisation. Morally, he would choose the most logical in every situation, ever emotionless as he passes judgement upon the unfaithful, and ever hating the harborfolk of Far Harbor. Would he try to convert the player character entirely? Probably. But nevertheless would make him any less interesting. Maybe we learn more about his past. As for the companion perk, undoubtedly it would have something to do with Radiation. Perhaps adding half of current radiation damage to critical damage from any weapon? Or maybe unleashing a radioactive explosion at low health and knocking enemies away, akin to the Fallout 3 perk, Nuclear Anomaly. I'm sure the voice actor could easily be replaced. He did kind of voice all the lines in a rather emotionless zealot voice. If there are any good modders out there who are willing to undertake this, then that would be nice. You can also pass 3 Speech checks to get a higher Caps reward. Strong disliked that
  6. Out of all the mod ideas I've seen, this one is one myself and many can relate to. I can't even begin to count how many times that dumb mutt placed himself over a mine I was trying to disarm, blocked a doorway when I was trying to run and heal, and decided he was going to be a meat shield for my target. Come, modders! Aid us unskilled players!
  7. You know, I've had this same thought for a while now. It would be great to start again with all the perks I had before without resorting to console commands. I always imagined the Sole Survivor would simply re-awaken in Vault 111 cryostasis, revealing all of their adventures to be a simple dream, yet a dream they learned so much from. This post both serves as a bump and a personal thought on how it may work out. Cheers!
  8. So, myself and a lewdish friend were discussing the fun we had with knives in the game, with their wonderful kill cameras, and then we got to thinking...why not have a texture replacer for all available knives that turned them into dildos? Mind you, this is quite dirty, as one would be ramming their, erm...toys directly into their target and somehow cutting them with them. If there is any modder good with textures and is just as lewd as us, go right ahead and make this mod! If not, then I thank you for reading this mildly amusing topic.
  9. I second this. What's more fun than having a snarky robot following one around?
  10. If you're like myself and any others, you've come to dislike how the Synth Shaun looks in that same, boring striped shirt. You've tried to use the console to switch him to something else, but as soon as the cell resets, his hard coded attire does as well. Mine mod suggestion would either be one that gets rid of the striped shirt combo from being hard coded onto him, or one that does the same, but adds a settlement item that allows you to customize said synth. Sure, it's nothing huge, and not many people might be bothered by it, but I doubt it'd take much time to code. Much thanks if any good modder decided to read this.
  11. Let's be perfectly honest, the Cannibal perk simply isn't worth getting, but the mods that buff it might not make much sense to some. What about a simple mod that turns that HP restored into a Percentage of HP restored instead? It would certainly merit the 8 Endurance required to get it and make it a bit more viable if one wants to conserve stimpaks for whatever reason. First rank could be buffed to 25% max HP for humans and non-feral ghouls, Second rank could be buffed to 50% max HP for feral ghouls and super mutants, and the Third rank could remain the same by doubling those values. Personally, I usually got the perk in previous games just for that naughty aspect in an otherwise Good Karma game. But it doesn't feel worth getting in Fallout 4. Thoughts, everyone?
  12. I ban alphatrax for sweetroll theft
  13. Quite the mystery. Maybe your internet speed dropped at the wrong time? Unfortunately, I don't know a whole lot about this, so I can only advise you wait for a few hours to see if it clears up. Who knows? Perhaps your net isn't used to the premium.
