I installed my missing unofficial patches, and I checked wyre bash but none of the mods were red. The majority of them had green checkmarks and a select few had green names, while there were others with orange checkmarks.

1. I did sort with Loot. 2. I never remember to use Wyre Bash so I'll have to look. 3. I thought I caught all the unofficial patches but i guess not lol. 4. I'm pretty sure I make sure I have all the proper patches (aside from those two I missed) but the mods were a reinstall after having to clear everything out so I may have missed something. 5. I suspect it has something to do with SkyUI but I have the latest version. Idk. One problem fixed, another arises. I reinstalled my game and all of the mods, and now I'm back to a problem i was having before where i can't access the magic menu but i can access everything else. I'm also having interface errors with every bit of interface. Whaaat is my issue? Load order:

That's my load order. Most everything is deactivated because i was trying to find out which was causing this problem. On top of that, i have several files installed from manual installations (i was avoiding installers because mod organizer is new for me and i was told nexus is bad). Everything in my game works wonderfully, but for a while my magic menu wasn't working. I don't even remember what I did now to get it to work but it involved a lot of reinstalling. I've reinstalled idk how many times. Now, whenever i access the settings menu, be it through the J key or the ESC key, i CTD instantly. Everything else is working fine otherwise. I've tried diffeernt saves, even started new games. Idefk.

so i should uninstall and reinstall steam?

btw, can i just move the steam folder elsewhere?

it wont let me delete the khajiit folder because it says it's in use, except there's nothing that I see that could be using the files.

Okay, so my game was running over 11k active scripts, and after having to restart playthroughs half a dozen times, i resigned to just doing a clean install. Well first I uninstallled the game via steam and then reinstalled it, but nothing changed. Next, I followed this guide to make it all vanilla again. Not only did this not work, but then my game crashed after the bethesda logo. Well in frustration, I deleted every bit of skyrim data, then uninstalled and reinstalled again. Lo and behold, it started! For soem reason i still had my previous autosaves and teh last three or four game saves, but i manually deleted those on my new dark elf named paul. I did the testing thing and then spamming random spells i finally crashed after polymorphing into a skeever, which i would like to know where that spell actually comes from, but my camera was stuck under the ground ont he skeever's belly. Before i began uninstalling skyrim just this last time, my camera was also stuck on the ground underneath horses when i rode them, but only in the very lsat session (no idea why) though i'm not sure if there's a connection? Anyway, confidentt hat it's working and that it was just unstable from me usinga ll those shoutsa nd spells, i went to download alternate start so that i could playp roperly. WELL. I realized all ofm y mods were still activated in nexus mod manager even though i deleteda ll of the data for them, soi had to deactivate and uninstall all 210+ mods (way more if you dont count the merged plugins). Well after that, now skyrim crashes after the bethesda logo. i did the cache thing and it said i was missing one file and i tried playign again afterwards with the same results so i'm kind of stumped now.

Can I just delete the files for the vanilla textures to return? Or in this case, Robert's textures?

I don't know how I broke it, but I did. I was using Slof's tabby-pointed siamese texture, but I decided I would have rather had the fullbody tabby texture. When I tried to change them, the body texture became torqued, and now only the head and tail are properly working.

Okay but when it wants me to put in the script name or whatever, it doesn't do anything? I think I don't know what I'm doing.

As soon as I figure out how I destroyed this body texture, I'll try that, thank you. Edit: I don't know how I broke it, but I did. Is there a way to reset the config menu?
