  1. Greetings fellow Adventurers! I am looking for an old mod that allowed you to enchant an item with a known spell. In other words, if you knew "Fireball" then you would be able to put fire damage on a weapon. Basically, taking enchanting back to how it was in Morrowind and Oblivion. Does anyone remember what the name for that mod was? Thanks for the help! ~ Javada
  2. Greetings, I am trying to solve two "problems" with one item and I think I have bitten off more than I can chew. See, I am one of those players who has to take EVERYTHING I find in a dungeon out of the dungeon and back to town to sell, which means I am always over-encumbered. I have tried downloading some of the "bags of holding" mods from the Nexus but they (more often than not) glitch my game. Then I found a mod that teleported the player to a player home, filled with boxes and chests, when a particular item was equipped, but for some reason my Norton Antivirus insisted it was malware and kept deleting it. With that being said, I thought I would have a go at creating a similar item. A ring that would teleport the player to a player home, where they can dump all their stuff, when equipped then would teleport the play back to where they were when unequipped. Creating the player home is relatively easy (haha) and I have found examples on how to code the ring to TAKE you there when it is equipped, but I don't know how to code it to take you back to where you were previously. Additionally, I have read that doing such a thing in a dungeon will glitch your game, much like the "Mark" and "Recall" spells mods do. So, here are my questions: 1.) CAN you teleport from a point in a dungeon interior and RETURN to that same location safely? 2.) If so, how would one code an item to do such a thing? Alternatively 3.) Is there a Bag of Holding Mod that is relatively uncomplicated and glitch-free? The mods I have found are very user unfriendly in terms of their GUIs and confusing. Thanks. ~Javada
  3. I have finished the interior for a player home and am now trying to find a location for it in the gaming world. I found a spot I like just outside of Whiterun but there is a red square over a large portion of it. I am assuming this is an indicator of some kind for a quest or world event, and for this reason I am hesitant to use that plot of land. Another section is free of red-squares and spawn-points but the Creation Kit says that set of coordinates is called "Whiterun Exterior" and, again, I am hesitant to use it. Many of the player homes near Whiterun I have found on the Nexus or on Steam are located just across from the Battle-born house, and I would rather not place my home where other modders have place theirs so as not to clash / interfer with their mods. So, here are my questions: 1.) Can I place the home within the red square? The empty lot in question is caddy-corner (diagonal) from the Whiterun Stable, next to the Cabbage Farm. 2.) Can I place a new exterior on a named block so long as there are no markers on it or should I only place them on blocks labeled "Wilderness"? 3.) Does anyone have coordinates they would love to see used for a player home? Thanks, ~~ Javada
  4. Greetings, I am attempting to build my first mod (go me) and was following the instructions found on the Creation Kit wiki when I noticed there were large gaps in my dungeon's ceiling. According to the wiki, the wall opposite the Side elements MUST be a Front element so the ceiling can autofill correctly. That is what I have done but there are still these gaps. I have Snap turned on for both grid and angle, I started building on the x=0, y=0, z=0 point. I have attached a picture of what is happening. Finally, an unrelated question; What is the best way to build a merchant chest and where should I place it? Beneath the store or in a hidden room? Any help would be appreciated and many thanks. ~Javada
