  1. Hello! New poster here. Would absolutely love if someone would make a mod to replace the current VATS-integrated critical hit system with the old critical system. I personally don't like to use VATS because it breaks the immersion, but missing out on critical hits is a very unfortunate caveat of this style of play. A mod to change the critical system back to how it was in F3/FNV would bring me (and, I imagine, countless others) a much more immersive and nostalgic experience. What I am suggesting is an overhaul to this mechanic to reflect the same critical system that was in place in the previous two games. I imagine most of you are familiar with the old games' critical mechanics but here is a breakdown of the current system and the ideal mod I'm suggesting: Current system: Critical meter fills as you land hits in VATSOnce you have obtained critical hit you execute this hit in VATSCritical damage has the base of double damage and is added to by weapon mods, a bobblehead, magazines, and the Better Criticals perkA few perks (legendary gear too maybe? not sure) are tied into storing criticals, building your critical meter and improving critical damageThe rate at which your critical meter fills scales with LuckMod: Criticals aren't tied into VATSCriticals have a random chance of occurring every time you land a shotCritical chance is calculated by the old system Critical damage has the base of double damageIn the old system, a critical hit was calculated with the following elements: The chance to crit scales with the player's luckThe class of weapon the player is using is taken into account (e.g. chance to crit for melee weapons > semiauto guns > automatic guns)Now, one thing about this mod would be that if the new system would be completely removed in favor of the old system, it would make a few perks, Grognak and Guns and Bullets magazines as well as a bobblehead obsolete. Bonus points if you were to tweak the existing perks magazines etc. to perform the same effects within the mechanics of the new critical system, or to nuance the new critical system in an original way. I'm rather unfamiliar with the proper format for suggestions, so I'm sorry if this has been suggested before, is too much to ask or if it isn't detailed enough. That being said, I'd really love to see a mod like this, and I'm sure others would too. Thanks for reading, and if you do decide to make this mod, thank you so much for your time. You're my hero!
  2. Right now when I go to download any mod, one of two things happen: 1. Earlier the mod pages themselves were working fine. Now, sometimes when I search for and open a specific mod, it tells me it doesn't exist/is hidden. 2. When the mod page opens and I click to download (NMM) when it gets added to NMM it says "File does not exist: nxm://falloutnv/mods/ ..." 3. When I manually download it, it opens the page where you select a server to download from. For me, it only lets me download from the premium server...for the rest of the servers, it says File is Syncing... What does this mean? Is something wrong with the Nexus database right now? :/
