Thx for the helpful answer, I considered in not give the answered flag that maybe my suggestion reach the right person. I the end I still put up the flag even if that means the suggestion will never been seen by a person can change this.

I don't know why Vortex think LOOT could be at my DVD drive at D: because there was never an CD / DVD in it when I had Vortex running. I suspect this wrong directory entered via one of the many Skyrim mod when I installed it. Anyway I have LOOT installed at C: and I need a way to change the directory. Also suggestion to give the option to change the direction where a tool is to find instead of an near endless error messages that give only "chancel, ignore, retry" as option.

When I read that the new Version need to install everything new I stopped it and installed the old version again. NMM only worked as easy way to download and install mods. But even within the ~60 mods I used in Morrowind I had to resort them with a other tool, check for conflicts and remove part of the installed mods without complete disable the mod. (NMM just copy all data and activate all esp/ esm even if they are optional or one have to select only one) So a new install of the mods is a 100% sure way to break the game I current play.
