You don't have to actually talk to anyone for the storage option, just activate some chests near the innkeeper (in chapter 1), so it might just be some chest in Roche's tent (have yet to play Chap 2 on Roche's path so i don't even know the area!) What i would like to know (before i find out the hard way): do stored items transfer to storages between chapters (i.e. can i access what i stored at the inn in chapter 1 in chapter 2)?
