  1. You can use your Companion as a pack mule or store your parts for crafting in a container next to your workbench at the lucky 38. Both have to be added by purchasing them from the terminal in the suite. I dont know if you know this but you can use camp fires to make things as well, and lets just say that every oven in Fallout is salvaged or destroyed. :P
  2. The computer doesnt have to use all 6gb of ram at once, it only uses what it needs from the programs you are running. You hard drive seems alright, all I can think of is another background program is interfering or its your memory. I have no Idea how you ran into this Aro 2011 program when I specifically said the program name was speedfan, and why download it? I dont even see Aro 2011 on the speedfan website.
  3. Thats not the right program, here is the website, Speedfan If it only sees 3 out of the 6 then theres something wrong with the placement of your sticks or your motherboard is faulty. Check to see if the sticks are not loose on the motherboard.
  4. Yeah, that code 0xc0000005 means that its a memory violation error. I would check your hard drive further status to see if its causing the problem. I had the exact same error when my game was crashing, all I did was a clean re-install of windows 7 on a new drive. A lot of my software is working better now and Fallout doesn't crash anymore. Download Speedfan and select the S.M.A.R.T tab then select perform online check. If there is nothing wrong with the Hard drive then it might be the Ram. Fallout uses around 1.5-2Gb depending on the settings/quality.
  5. Well if your game never crashed with all those mods it can be a couple things, Either you corrupted the game, a program interfering, installed the wrong mod, or it can be a faulty drive. What about your hard drive? How old is it and what company is it? Ex: seagate, Western Digital, Samsung? You may want to check on your hard drive, even new or old it can be faulty or broken. Before going into that right away I want to see the details of the error,(the game error), from the Event viewer. If any other games or programs are acting up it can be your HD thats causing the problem. Just type Event viewer in the start menu search box and look for the last time your game crashed. Should be under custom views, admin events.
  6. Fallout and Dragon age are two completely different games. Fallout can crash due to a number of reasons, and one of those being mods. If your mods are disabled and fallout is still crashing then it can be your hardware or a program interfering with it. The next time your fallout game crashes check the event viewer and look at the details. Also Have you ever reinstalled the game at all or validate the files?
  7. Did the game crash a lot before you added a mod? If not then its probably one of the mod's interfering with each other.
  8. Fallout new vegas works fine until I enter the Ultra Luxe. Only when I explore the bath house the game freezes. I have the bug compilation fix mod and that didnt help. Are there any other mods that can fix it? Last, heres my load order 1. Fallout new vegas 2. dead money 3. community bug fix
  9. I had a major CTD problem that I couldnt get rid of and tried every solution possible. Last thing I did was re-install the OS on a new drive, since I found out the last drive was a little faulty. Next thing that happens the game works perfectly and I can play it without interruption. I would recommend Checking your hard drive to see if there is anything wrong with it. Then buy a new one and re-install the OS, with service pack 1 right away.
  10. I never knew that was possible. I dont know of a fix but looking at the other comments and with my experience dealing with Osbidian's development and updating. They dont do it so well, something that needs to be improved on their part Imo. You can try to shoot a flying grenade or missle without vats if you have a sharp eye, just a suggestion XD.
  11. Sorry for the long wait but, I re-installed windows on a new drive. The drive that my game was on isnt in the best condition so maybe that was interfering with FO3 and new vegas. Im not sure if a faulty drive can cause a memory violation error but a friend of mine suggested to use the newer drive.
  12. Lower your graphic settings on Fallout 3, as for the CTD's Im still trying to figure out whats causing it and finding a fix. Here is a possible solution for a CTD Here
  13. The only other errors I see hours before the crash are these... The UPnP Device Host service depends on the SSDP Discovery service which failed to start because of the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. DCOM got error "1068" attempting to start the service upnphost with arguments "" in order to run the server: {204810B9-73B2-11D4-BF42-00B0D0118B56} Service 'WMPNetworkSvc' did not start correctly because CoCreateInstance(CLSID_UPnPDeviceFinder) encountered error '0x80070422'. Verify that the UPnPHost service is running and that the UPnPHost component of Windows is installed properly. The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: RxFilter These Errors happen every time on startup.
  14. I usually play the game without using FOMM to launch it and New Vegas doesnt have any mods attached to it. The only two mods Im running are the unofficial patch and an object placement fix patch. Sometimes I cant even leave rivet city once I make a save there. In fallout new vegas It will crash for the same reasons.
