  1. I've been getting random CTDs lately and went to check the Papyrus logs to see what is causing these crashes and found out it's due to a fxdustdroprandom script error. Here's an example line the papyrus log of the error. [04/02/2016 - 12:39:53AM] ERROR: Object reference has no 3D stack:[ (0001E68C)].Sound.Play() - "<native>" Line ?[ (00044585)].fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT.OnLoad() - "<savegame>" Line ? Some other people have encountered this error before. I tried installing the scripts and implementing the fixes provided in this old thread (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/732051-fxdustdroprandomscript-errors-fixed/) but ultimately it didn't work (I wouldn't be posting this thread topic if it did). Maybe it has something to do with my mods (ex: ENB, texture mods, etc.)? Maybe there's some sort of conflict with a mod and the main game? I don't know for sure (that's why I'm here obviously). I hope someone in this forum has the technical know-how to fix this fairly annoying problem. I hope it doesn't require me to have a fresh clean installation of the game as I would have to reinstall a lot of mods and it would erase a lot of progress.
  2. As the topic title suggests I am having trouble downloading mods that are 100 Megabytes or greater in size (ex: Tamriel Reloaded HD, Skyrim Flora Overhaul Regular Edition, etc. ). I use NMM and when I download the mod, it appears to download successfully until it reaches about 97% completion then I get an error stating the file is incomplete. I retry the download and it appears to finish but when I try to activate the file, it stops after a certain percentage and says there was a problem installing the mod (specifically that the mod is corrupted and NMM was unable to activate the mod). I have tried downloading the mods several times but to no avail. I then tried downloading manually but I get an "Unexpected End of Archive" error. I repair the archive and it appears to have recovered the lost files but they are corrupted and don't show up in game properly (aka as very faint purple "texture"). This just started about a week ago, I haven't had trouble downloading large files (100 MB+) before and from the same location I'm at now. So what could be the issue? Antivirus? Actually corrupt files? Bad Server? Thanks in advance to whoever can help.
  3. As the topic title suggests I am encountering an error that says the following when playing Skyrim: "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 359.06 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." This error causes the game to freeze and the screen to flicker for a few seconds before going back to normal. However, after a little while (about 30 to 45 minutes into playing) the game will fully crash and when trying to re-enter the game I get a "Failed to Initialize Renderer" error and my graphics settings are forcibly reverted to having no anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering to which I cannot turn back as the setting has been removed. Restarting my Laptop temporarily fixes the problem but it eventually reverts to this state again. Now before you say anything my graphics driver is up to date and I tried a clean reinstall of the game. Also, I know some people have experienced errors sort of similar to this but I haven't found something that addresses my issue in particular. Lastly here are some things to note: -This only happens when playing Skyrim and has just recently started (aka hasn't given me this sort of trouble in the past). Games and software like Team Fortress 2, Source Filmmaker, Sonic Adventure, etc. that I have installed on my computer do not give me this error. So I doubt it's an error with my graphics card as a whole. - I've tried reverting to a previous driver version but again I still get the error. -My Laptop specs are as follows: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit Intel Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50 GHz Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M Installed RAM: 8.00 GB (7.91 GB Usable) (This MAY suggest a Memory issue. Key Word: MAY) So what could it be: Graphics Driver Issue? Buggy Install? A Mod (or mods)? Bad/Faulty Memory? Please respond at your earliest convenience.
  4. As the topic title suggests my request is to have custom races (like that of the stock/vanilla Argonians and Khajits) based on the following animals: Deer, Alligator, Horse, Frog, and Hippo. The reason why is I would like to have more variety in anthro race selection beyond just a lizard race and a cat/feline race. I am aware that the probability of my request being acknowledged AND fulfilled is extremely slim as I know modders are likely busy with personal projects, my request being a fairly tall order in my opinion, etc. but I thought I would get the request out there anyway. I would be very grateful to the modder(s) who decide(s) to fulfill my request.
