  1. I just wanted to add some feedback to the new site design. I actually use my PC on a TV and when I was reading it was going to be more mobile friendly I was worried. I have given the new design a good honest try over the last 3 days and am really happy with it. I have had a few where the heck is this or that but slowing down taking my time I have found everything with relative ease. I think the team did a very nice job overall and in no time for me wont even be a noticeable difference it will just be thenexus now. The only real glaring difference is I do not see the mod authors name behind the name of the mod like before. I actually do not see the mod authors name anywhere on the mod description page. Maybe my resolution is chopping it off somehow or it has been relocated.
  2. Love it, always love seeing her works in mod showcase videos. I have used a few of her mods over my play-throughs cant wait! Keep the great content coming Nexus team.
  3. I am playing on a very lightly modded game and getting this bug as well. I am going to start a vanilla game today and see if I get the same issues. I am also running the game via F4SE as I am using the Place Everywhere mod by TheLich. I played for 3 hours last night after turning SSAO off with no freeze. Left it off played again this morning and in Kendall Hospital got the freeze in vats. So if anyone else read SSAO might be a fix I dont believe it is.
  4. I have a request a simple Hide button near the Track mod button. I do many different play through styles and the ability to hide mods I know I wont want while doing constant searches would be handy. You would then need a Hidden mods page where we can select which mods to un-hide or an un-hide all button would also be handy. This would make searching a bit quicker as I wouldn't have to to reread a mod page only to be like oh yeah duh I don't want that mod for whatever reason.
  5. Great podcast with Brumbek and TB. Changed my mind on a lot of things. I seriously recommend a listen and try to do so with an open mind putting your feelings and opinions in the background for a few hours :)
  6. In response to post #10450567. #10451494, #10451587, #10451618, #10451677 are all replies on the same post. Toss my hat in agreement a step back is going to lead into two steps forward here.
  7. In response to post #10451702. Totally agree, going manual spurned a new play through idea and with that I have taken extra steps to learn about mods and conflicts and have been able to drastically change the amount of mods needed to meet my wants for a play thorough. Got back a good amount of disk space as well.
  8. In response to post #10451953. That is kind of frustrating. Mine just expired....I got lucky. I really notice no difference or saved time in the faster downloads I don't have my life on that tight of schedule :) but I do hope the times I was able to premium helped. I really have had some fast fast downloads over the last 2 days even not on premium. Rather than go premium I am planning on donating to a few of my favorite mods after Christmas then maybe go back premium around summer.
  9. In response to post #10418159. LOL I wish I would stop seeing or hearing about people playing New Vegas it always makes me want to play it and I am getting no where on Skyrim lol.
  10. In response to post #10418248. #10418337 is also a reply to the same post. You are right there are some drawbacks to manual downloads with NMM but why not post your concerns in the NMM forums they love to take ideas and suggestions there. I am pretty sure if the mod is fomod ready NMM when it imports and installs it will keep it maintained but not all mods are. Wont really be that hard to update them manually with a simple button click or just re-download them.
  11. Wow site is moving something sweet today. Wanted to post a positive :) Great work Nexus. Going manually to downloads has spurred an idea for a play through and some manual mod organization is paying off well for space on my hard drive. Thanks for everything.
  12. In response to post #10412759. Nice post but even manual downloads barely work. So the old fashioned way isnt even viable. I was able to download some last night but nothing thus far today. I have a good mod collection going and am in no dire need for anything new but I am a constant browser always looking and getting new things. Im by no means livid or with nothing to do other than blast ass on the forums but it is none the less a bit frustrating 9kb mods wont download :)
  13. In response to post #8299283. That was pretty funny but sadly it seems the drama crap around here is starting from the top. I see people get told no adult files in a chat room with 20 some people and adult files on the main page is not a big deal? Lets see 20 people in a chat room and really only 1 is wanting the link as they are asking for certain mods, then the main page has that stuff? I personally don't care either way I didn't fire off a message complaining but I can see why some people would. I don't know why they would have to be so silly about it just a mention is enough complaining and acting all offended for effect is just a bit much but I can see why people do it, look how the staff treat subjects and how they constantly call people out. I am going to have to see some real change before I renew my premium membership again.
  14. In response to post #8162969. Just keep renewing that premium membership that is the best way to help. They have mentioned various times they do not wish to go the donation route people signing up for memberships is the best way to drive forward. Not saying I don't think a donation campaign to get the servers up and running isn't a bad idea as you and other premium members are saying the same thing.
  15. In response to post #7609565. Totally second this, would love to try new mods as they come out but hate adjusting my load order once I have a steady established working stable game, doing so always runs the risk of adding new problems.
