You misunderstand what I'm going for here. I just think it's very funny how much of the main quest is preventable but isn't just due to the sheer bumbling of the cast. You would light the dragonfires and beat the game in 20 minutes but Joffrey leaves the amulet of kings locked in a sock drawer completely unguarded in a tiny little priory house to be stolen. Once you get to the mythic dawn hideout, you just let mankar cameron run away for seemingly no reason, prolonging the game even longer. and THEN by the time you get both Martin and the Amulet together, Chancellor Ocato and Joffrey both waste a bunch of time with useless ceremony that lets Dagon invade. I just think it would be very funny to beat the game really fast and skip a lot of the bumbling by doing it yourself, with as little fanfare as "taking an amulet to a building and lighting a fire" would involve.

So this mod idea has been stuck in my head for ages but beyond my ability to create. The idea is once you finish the tutorial and get the amulet of kings, you can finish the main quest as normal, no changes there, but completely unmarked in any quest journal or anything is you have the ability to just put the amulet of kings in yourself, and manually go light the dragonfires. Ideally this happens with absolute 0 fanfare, the fires are lit, any open oblivion gates close, no final cutscene, at most a quest journal update ending the main questline, and then you can go and pawn off the amulet or something.

The unique brass knuckle weapon, Love and Hate, for some reason adds this sort of tattoo to your character's right hand, this overwrites the gloves on any armor set, and is generally just really ugly. Would it be possible to remove the tattoo, and keep the gloves, while still keeping the unique look of the knuckles?
-
Yes it is, its just my character in the Imperial dragon boots, greaves, and gloves, with the vanilla legion armor breastplate. Its the armor I want to get retextured for a female version of the imperial dragon breastplate (bc as it is right now its a recolor of the male version of the legion breastplate)

I really like the style of the imperial dragon armor, which is really annoying because it doesnt have a unique chestpiece model for women. I've been trying to find a mod for it but the only one I got made the chestpiece look like ebony armor. The armor itself is a retexture of the regular legion armor, so I was hoping someone could use the female model for the legion armor to make an imperial dragon armor version.

While I know there is controversy surrounding this I really dont care about that, so all I ask is to not say things like "But she's really a man!" I was just wondering if someone could change all the pronouns for Gwyndolin in the item descriptions and whatnot to she/her (such as the darkmoon seance ring.) because as a trans woman, it is very uncomfortable to see a lot of the item descriptions involving Gwyndolin pretty much say "she pretended to be a girl" and used masculine pronouns, as I share very similar experiences. Thank you in advance to anyone who would do this.

A certain thing that annoys me is during certain scenes, you get captured and all your armor is taken away, leaving you completely naked, while every other prisoner keeps their clothing. (i'm looking at you mothership zeta) Anyway I was wondering if it would be possible to mod it so the "naked" texture for your character is, instead of their underwear, its the vault 101 jumpsuit, kinda like how fallout 1 and 2 worked. So that when you are stripped naked, it still looks like you have clothes on.

Better Female Courier's duster
Megachipman replied to Megachipman's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
Okay knowing that I downloaded that mod but honestly, it's still way too clunky, They thinned out the torso part yea, but it still honestly looks like I'm wearing a box. I'm probably going to use it until I get something better but I really want a more form fitting version, so it looks like i'm wearing clothes and not ugly power armor -
Better Female Courier's duster
Megachipman replied to Megachipman's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
the one flamenx posted seems decent enough, but my problem with it is that, well (it looks like) it needs a body mod, which I really dont like because 90% of them usually are "Makes the women so thin they become 2D and it gives them huge boobs" so I honestly want one that uses the vanilla body. If you do attempt to make a custom one thank you c: -
I finally bought all the New Vegas dlcs and I just finished Lonesome Road and it was great, when I got the Courier's Duster for finishing it I though i'd finally have something new to wear, except it has no unique model for women so it looks like i'm just wearing a cube instead of clothing. I've been looking for a mod to fix that all day but i just cant find one, really all I want is for a slightly more form fitting version for female characters so my torso doesnt like double in size when I put it on What I mean is something similar to the bounty hunter duster in gender different design

LE Dark brotherhood gloves sneak attack
Megachipman replied to Megachipman's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
:O thank you! I tried to make it myself but I could not for the life of me figure out how to do it -
Normally when I play a thief/assassin character I obviously join the dark brotherhood and get those beautiful gloves that let you pretty much instant murder any enemy you backstab What I was hoping for though is a mod that makes that double backstab bonus apply to general sneak attacks too instead of just dagger backstabs because (at least for me) at higher levels I could almost never kill anyone in one shot with my bow even with the perk that makes the damage x3. And no matter how much extra damage a bow has over a dagger x3 compared to x30 is a big amount So yea mod that makes the dark brotherhood gloves affect all sneak attacks so like bows would do x6 sneak damage with the gloves on

Reasons why the magic coming out of your hand or not aside, I really like the second suggestion As a mage in mine I rarely use staves so having them be a sort of upgrade to your spells seems like a really neat idea. It would give me a reason to actually use magical staves for my magic, as well as make it so prisoners and other de-geared mages would be less dangerous than a powerful necromancer you find in their lair. I for oen am all for a mod like this, would probably make me pick up my mage again.

Everyone already knows about the weird "Stolen Goods" system in Skyrim, and how every merchant everywhere knows that THAT very specific apple you have is Stolen property (yet dont turn you in to the guards) A neat mod that I would like be like, have it so it keeps track of where you stole something, so if you stole something in Riften, a merchant in Solitude won't blink an eye if you try to sell it to them. I mean, how would they know that was Little Orphan Timmy's apple you took from his room as he slept? So basically I want a mod that will allow you to sell stolen goods outside of the city you stole it from. Just having that would make me happy with the mod, but other things that could be added that would be nice: -How far you have to travel to sell a stolen good depends on how valuable it is, examples: Stealing really cheap like a fork: A different merchant than the one you stole it fromSomething more expensive like armor: Would have to at least leave the city, could still sell to smaller villages in the hold.Something very expensive, like gems, jewels, and things from the jarl themselves: You'd have to leave the hold itself and sell it someplace else. -Being able to attempt to sell stolen goods anyway: Have like a random chance based on your speechcraft skill for a merchant to accept buying your stolen goods. Say if you steal a fancy breastplate from the armorer, and tried to sell it to the nearby general goods store. You would have a random chance for the shopkeep to just shrug and buy it (chance for them to buy it could possibly increase based on how many other things you sold before hand, because it could get lost in the horde of stuff). Or a chance for the merchant to realise it's stolen and call the guards, and you'd get a bounty (probably in the like 100 - 200 gold range, penalty for both stealing and trying to sell stolen goods.) It would be nice to be able to freelance thief for a bit before joining the thieves guild

LE Release the Abandoned Shack survivors
Megachipman replied to Megachipman's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I don't know whats happening with you, but you can release them, once you kill Astrid and the quest updates, you can talk to the still tied up guys and you now have the option to release them, and they all give a variant of "We won't tell anybody about this" and then they leave. Well thats one way to due things, but my problem here isnt wanting to release the guys but also kill the khajiit, if that was the problem i could just easily release the other two and murder him. My problem here is that I want to join the dark brotherhood yet only kill one of them.
