  1. No prob :) You can walk straight to the workbench in Sanctuary hills without doing the Preston Quest.
  2. This happened with Scrap Everything. One of their updates messed things up and they patched it right away. Try moving any scrap mods to the very bottom of your list, that should restore your scrapped building to being scrapped.
  3. Hmm... I had a carefully decorated bathroom explode once (No more chilli dog night for those settlers)... It somehow clipped the shower into my guard post, the toilet into someone's bed, and generally caused a whack of chaos. This was when I fast traveled away and came back. I managed to reload a previous save and it didn't happen again. Some stuff was under the ground. That may be where your workbench went?
  4. Hey, i can try and help. If you get a crash when you open the settlement menu, it is usually a missing mesh file. Since you don't have too many settlement mods, I would recommend finding the meshes and manually installing them. It's actually not too hard to do. Basically, go to where your nexus mods are installed and look in the fallout 4 folder. In there, you will see your mods as zip files and the like. open it up and move all the files in the meshes categories to the respective meshes categories in the fallout4/data directory. That should fix you up. I would also put Armor keywords under the official dlc, then all settlement mods in order, and everything else following with any scrap mods you decide on at the very bottom. Also Safe Sex has been updated to SSEX 3.6. I don't think Safe Ssex will work properly anymore, so it would be a good idea to upgrade.
  5. That looks good. I am not sure how to combat the crash when scrapping thing. i use Scrap Everything, Scrap It all Away, and Scrappable Commonwealth together and they work well (At the very bottom of the load list though). There is also Spring Cleaning which some people prefer. I have an old save that had that Scrap and crash issue. I managed to mostly fix it (except one wall), but I am not sure how. I ended up using the console select object with mouse and type "disable" without selecting anything else, you can bring it back with "enable" (Which is handy for building). I am not entirely sure either about this, but I think that Disabling does not remove it, it just hides it, so it will remain and contribute to your settlement size and eventually cause FPS loss, so only sue it for problematic pieces. You can try fast travel away and back, see if that helps too. You can also try a new game and see if the issue is a save game corruption or a problem with your install. Beyond that, I hope someone else has an idea for you and can weigh in.
  6. Uhm, no. I won't be merging the two mods mainly because I don't maintain HM, and it's not in my interest to spend days upon days putting together all the bits of each mod. I have plenty work as is without the need to do this. Also nova is going to update her mod gradually. I suggest checking the current SSEX page since your information is outdated. I will, Like I said, it was a good mod in it's time. It's nice to see someone showing it some love again. Also, I think I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you had implied that you took over SSEX and were implementing Homemaker. My mistake, sorry. No offence intended.
  7. Actually, after looking again... YOu don't have Alternate settlements or OCDdecorator, and do not really need SK. I would disable SK, and patchymacpatcherson.esp and leave in the HMM SEO patch instead. If you have no mods dependent upon SK, and only have a relative few that alter menus like you do. You do not currently need SK. If you decide to install more mods, then I would recommend going for the new Settlement Keywords Expanded, as Styuk is not really maintaining SK and it's been more or less taken over. That also means that until Alternate Settlements and OCD decorator get updated, you may not be able to fully use those mods. Just an fyi, there is no more keywords limit (at least none that we need to worry about) anymore, so a framework mod now is just to prevent bloat and conflicts, but not to prevent limits. Also, to your issue of items not appearing. That is one of two things. 1) you do not have the perk or materials required 2) the meshes didn't load You can find the meshes inside of the .zip file in the nexus mods folder for Fallout 4. Then manually place thos files into their respective folders in Fallout4/data First, however, open up the console with the tilde (~) key and type tgm (the god mode) This will allow you to free build anything without the necessary components and skills. If that still doesn't work, then try the meshes option like I sais. Most likely its a skill and materials issue in game, however, and not anything else.
  8. You have SK and the SettleObjExpandPack-HomemakerKeyPatch. You will need to get rid of the latter. Also, Simple intersection causes many conflicts, considering it's patch is for HMM 1.22 and we are on HMM 1.33/34 that is also an issue. You also have three enhanced grass esp Low, medium, and high. I beleive you should only have 1 or the other. I would reccomend putting AWKCR and SK just below the main files, and then go with settlement mods, their patches, game changes, Armour mods, weapon mods,a nd lastly any scrap mods. Cut out two grass mods you are not using Remove the SettleObjExpandPack-HomemakerKeyPatch.esp and Also update or remove Simple intersection in favor or Place anywhere instead. I hope that helps.
  9. Ethreon, I believe that Nova has asked if anyone wants to take over Homemaker... (If I recall right) SSEX had a lot going for it early on. I loved the mod before all the big ones hit the scene, but I found the standard and quality of Homemaker was just infinitely better. Over time I found very little offered by SSEX that Homemaker didn't do a better job on. Also, SSEX caused a CTD in the doors category and did not play well with other mods. My recommendation would be to combine the two and take the assets from SSEX that are not in Homemaker and port them in, instead of the other way around. Both had covenant walls, for example, but only Homemaker's snapped. Basically, you have a lot more to work with if you use Homemaker as the starting point, IMO.
  10. In response to post #35130310. #35130710, #35135545, #35140215, #35141660, #35142005, #35142115 are all replies on the same post. CTD in workbench is because the update seems to screw up some modded meshes. just replace the missing meshes from the meshes folder. It will be trial and error to find which ones they are. Or you can simple open all your mod Zips and just grab every mesh you see.
  11. Hey Everyone, I'd like to add a couple troubleshooting things that really helped me (Specifically) I was having a CTD in Misc Decor, and it turned out to be Buildable Campfires did not have it's Meshes moved over, so I moved them, and then combed through all of my mods in order to find all the missing Meshes files... I was missing them for AWKR, two DDP ones, and Alternate Settlements did not update properly. So I moved them all over from the .zips into the Data/Meshes Directory, and... voila! no more menu CTDs. Prior to that I was getting a build menu ctd when entering it, that happened to be a load order issue. I had to move Homemaker below Snap N' Build. My advice is that when you load up mods, load only 3-5 at a time, thoroughly test them by combing through each menu, and then move on to 3-5 more. Spend an evening doing this, and it will save you many more evenings of troubleshooting. Also, a weird one I found after deleting all mods and reinstalling everything, I changed my graphics modes from low and then back to medium before applying texture mods. This solved a weeklong issue I had with missing textures, and one which no online help forum seemed to address. I hope these help, I am no modder... yet, but I am starting to get pretty versed at mod troubleshooting. lol
