  1. I use both Alternative Start and Racemenu and found that they were not the cause of my recent issue with endless loading screens. For me the culprit was having multiple texture mods that altered the outdoor environment. Once I'd culled some of these my game loaded without any problems. For me it only happened when I tried to do the scenarios that needed to load my character outdoors, so I started by disabling all the texture mods that affected the outdoors, then I loaded them one by one to see which one was the culprit.
  2. If you're using the latest version of Skyrim SE, then I'd try verifying it to make sure it has all it's files. Then I'd try reinstalling skse64 2.0.8. It happened to me yesterday and this seemed to fix it for me.
  3. I'm no expert, but if I were you I'd start by uninstalling the mods that edit Lakeview. Test it without these mods to see if it allows you to build Lakeview. If it does then you know one of those mods were causing your issue. I may also be that one of those mods is clashing with another mod. I normally find it useful to also revisit the mod creator's page just incase someone has had similar issues to you and a solution has been found or just in case they've updated their list of mods that conflict with theirs. I normally test mods individually to see if they cause any problems on their own then gradually try two together to see if they're conflicting with each other, if they don't then I know I can rule them out.
  4. @Lokil62 yes the old files need to be replaced. Gopher has a really good installation guide on Youtube the link is below:
  5. To be honest I could list many things, but that could take a long while so I won't. I'd like them to make the guild quests take longer to reach the top, so that you feel more like you earned it and didn't just get it because Bethesda created really short quest lines. I want to see improved combat mechanics and have more variations of combat, like martial arts being one example. I'd also like to see more dynamic dungeon and world exploration options, like the ability to actually climb like you can in tomb raider, not just run up a mountain side as far as you can and attempt to try and jump to a higher level. I think that could work for inside and outside dungeons. You could have a cave but to access it you have to climb to the top and enter from there, then you would have to scale down or even dive into water if it's partly submerged. You could even enter a cave/dungeon through an underwater entrance and then maybe have to climb up to a higher level.
  6. If the mods you're trying to use rely on SKSE, then that's why they've stopped working the way they should. Some people have opted to try and roll back their game to a previous version. However people like myself are waiting until the SKSE team create an update.
  7. HAHAHAH I LOVE IT! I can't tell you the amount of times I've wanted to do that! Your mod sounds promising, makes me want to try it out just so I can see how many times I can lead Nazeem to his doom. I'll definitely check out the mod thanks.
  8. Seconded that. That's what I would do instead of using the console in-game, which can sometimes break ones game. Hey thanks for the suggestion that could come in handy actually.
  9. Hey I know this is a late response, but thank you!
  10. Can someone please make a mod to make Nazeem a follower so I can show him the shrine of Boethia!
  11. The answer to this is yes and no. Essentially you can mod your VR version of Skyrim with the mods that have been created specifically for VR (found in the VR section) as well as using mods made for Skyrim Special Edition. However you just can't use Special Edition mods that require SKSE64 (as far as I know there isn't a VR version available yet).
  12. I know right, it's enough to drive you insane. I was going to suggest the Immersive Citizens mod, but jones beat me to it. As to them always freaking out over magic, I think that has more to do with the fact that, most of the Nords are suspicious of magic and tend to prefer melee combat over it.
  13. I suppose it's a case of each to their own. I personally prefer to individually pick the mods I want to use, so I get a game experience tailored to my preference. For me it's all part of the fun. Yes sometimes a mod might not work, work the way it's meant to or is just plain incompatible with another mod I have installed. However this just means I have to figure out which mods are causing the issue and if is is an incompatiblity issue, I just decided which mod I want more. Thankfully most mod authors normally state which of the most popular mods are and are not compaitble with their mods and where possible even offer patches to make then compatible with a previously incompatible mod. Don't get me wrong having mod boxes sounds like a neat idea, if it was implemented it would most likely cause the site to be unecessarily bloated file wise. I think the easiest option (of course this is entirely up to the mod creator) would be to simply list a few recommended mods. I also find checking other people's posts in the comments section helps too.
  14. Please don't, actually. In a few days I will open an official [WIPz] SKSE64 thread which should be the main place to discuss things on the forums. The plan is to open that when my demo video is ready. Unfortunately that will still be a few days away. Oh good, in that case never mind about the sticky. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
  15. If a mod reads this, could you make this thread a sticky/pinned please.
