Im having a different problem, while my animations work great, fnis running through vortex, but i wanted to turn on gender specific animations.... no luck, i ran fnis, bad installation it says, even though i know its in the correct place and work perfectly.... no idea why.

Hi All ... I see that a lot of people are having these type of problem.. Here is a solution that i found ... Do not disable any thing in MCM menu .... it only stops the error message. If u get and incompatible menu file error just go in you skyrim directory -> Data Folder -> Interface. Find the file name that was in the error message like for example favoritemenu.swf . You just need to cut this file from skyrim interface folder and make a 'interface backup' folder anywhere and paste it in that or if you want to delete it , your choice but i highly recommend to make a backup instead of deleting it ... Same applies for any ERROR CODE 5 in SkyUI .... This word 100% and you will see the SkyUI menu the next time you start the game. Having the same issue bro, i know this isnt helpful, but i think it might be because we are using vortex, since it works fine on nexus mod manager. If i find a way to fix it ill post it here.

I'm have the same problem now and am now searching to figure this out, i have no idea whats causing it, le sigh, I might just make a list and delete everything than re install at this point.... by which i mean my files, cause i dont really care cause i just restart so not that attached, just takes a lot of time.

yeah im having this problem too, not sure what causes it, its definitely a mod but im not entirely sure, im not good at this modding stuff

your not the only one with this problem, i started a new game and i found braith the same way just after talking to her dad... I must be using a mod thats overwriting something cause i havent resurrected her parents, so i need to figure out what mod is causing it.
