Viola! i messed with monitor controls and an auto adjust fixed it.... now if i can stop the damn game from crashing. I guess i will have to slog thru that issue now.

Thanks CS for your interest. No everything else is normal, including other games. Horizontally, on a 14 inch screen only New Vegas is shifted to the right, leaving an inch of blank screen. by the way I know there is a very needed patch, and my game has crashed several of times, but I assumed this patch is autoloaded by Steam even thought i bought the CD. am I off base here?

How do I adjust the view to fit screen properly? My view is off by a bit. Running on Vista if that matters.
