I have not updated any of them, and i assume that it is from the beginning of the playthrough. I wouldnt know as i didnt touch swords until later on. I have not read about any incompatibilities between them. Try updating them to see if it was an accidental bug made by a modder. Didnt work. Is there no way to just disable the paralysis spell/effect? I never use it anyways.

Really? Nobody knows? This is really starting to bug me. Swords are pretty much unusable now. I would be fine with just disabling paralysis or something of that sort. I dont use it anyways. Any help is appreciated.

I understand that your map mods have never caused any issue before but have you tried disabling them? When did this issue come up?

It would be helpful if you could post any mods you might have installed and your system specs. Are you sure you can run skyrim properly?

Hello. Im sort of new to Skyrim modding, so im not sure what the issue is here. So pretty much every time i would get into a fight, my screen would flash green as it does when i use a spell (even though im using a sword and shield) and Lydia and myself would become paralyzed, while my modded follower(Arissa) would not be affected. My enemies are not affected either. When i go into my effects tab in magic, it says i have Mass Paralysis on (i dont even own the spell). It is really starting to get on my nerves when as soon as i get back up after being paralyzed the fight is over so i can never fight anyone unless im using magic or a bow. So basically hitting enemies with a sword will 90% of the time send off a Mass Paralysis spell for no reason and paralyze me. Great. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? Or which mod is causing it?
