  1. Thanks for all your help, i'll have to get this sorted out as soon as i get a new hard drive. If I run into problems, I will post again on this thread. Just to clarify something. I don't download mods through Vortex. I get them manually and add them manually. Thanks again ghandolfski
  2. So basically just change the mod location in vortex to my external had drive and re-sync everything again. Sorry for the silly questions, I just started using Vortex and still fumbling my way through it lol. I find it rather confusing sometimes!! Thanks for your help Gandolfski
  3. Hello Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I think this is my first post on the forum. My question is this: Do the mods have to stay in the location they were installed from, and, can they be moved after installed? I don't know if all the files get copied to the games data directories or if it still needs the .zip file to pull data from. I'm trying to clean up my hard drive and have over 100G worth of mods between 4 games and want to copy them to a external hard drive if I can. I am not a hardcore modder and don't know all the ins and outs, if a mod works i use it if it doesn't I delete it. Thanks for the help Ghandolfski
  4. Hello modding community, I currently thinning out my Skyrim SE mods folder as it has become too unstable to play. I am using NMM at the moment with no issues except possible load order issues. I have a lot of CBBE presets and other body mod presets and was wondering if they have to be loaded into NMM or just extracted into the bodyslide folder. I did try a google search a few times and the browser crashed lol, so i don't think google knows this. This is my first time using the forum, so sorry if this is in the wrong place. Also I didn't search the forum either as I know nothing about modding so I don't know the correct terminology. I am using the Steam version of Skyrim SE if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help Gandolfski PS if I don't reply right away i'm sorry, I leave myself logged in all the time. But I will check several times a day Thanks again
