  1. Looked over it and while it seems really good it's not exactly what I'm looking for. But still thanks for mentioning it. I might have use for it one day.
  2. I really like Caliente's Bodyslide and I'm currently working on an own diverse body types mod for immersion using it. And while I do use skeletons to change the bodyshapes of men I'd really like to have more control over how exactly the bodies look. And that's where my request/suggestion/question(?) comes in: Is it possible to apply the same slider system to male bodies and would anyone else but me be interested in this kind of Bodyslide addon?
  3. This thing is a massive waste of time since the trade between the EU and the US is already very free. It's only getting pushed because some corporates whine that they can't sell their stuff of questionable quality here because there are basic standarts and safety checks wich their products constantly fail (for good reason I might add). It has literally no purpose other than weakening logical regulations in order to swamp a new market with crap. And technically I wouldn't have that much of an issue with companies selling things like egenetically engineered meat and other stuff here but the TTIP would also make it impossible to label it as such because then the company would sue the government of the respective state for that. I think it's important that the consumer can decide for themselves what to buy and if the want to eat mutant beef or regular beef and without labeling they won't be able to do so. Also, the less the US and their randian economics have influence where I life the better.
  4. I would like to have lootable Draugr and Skeletons with armor. Okay, their weapons and death items are lootable but not their armors. It would be nice if the armors the Draugr wear could be looted like normal items. Since it is possible to use different models for different races on the same armor (this system is used for most helmets since Argonians and Khajiit have weird heads) it should be also possible to do this with the Draugr and Skeletons. If someone is interested then please go ahead and make it^^
  5. This sounds horrible D:> ... But interesting. Well, this could be lore friendly enough. I mean, we have cannibals and vampires. Why not add this armor to their leveled list? And I belive the Argonians are also not very happy that some people wear their pals as clothes. It should be fairly easy to create this armor. I'm too unskilled to create an actual armor model but I could retexture something. To make people belive it's the actual skin the armor could be tagged the same way the default body is so the NPC's will belive you're naked despite of wearing someones skin. It should rather be clothing than armor but with 20% magic resistance like the original. I could create this armor (sort of) if I have the time.
  6. It still don't works. I tell you how I try to make it all the time: 1. Select an base mesh. I skip that part with the body mesh because I want to create Vault suit armor variants and theres no bare skin. 2. delete all the armatures (as far as I understood these things are the original skeleton) 3. add the .nif file I want to attach and remove its armature too for example the combat armor chest piece form the Spad mod. 4. delete the cube mesh that is always shown in blender (if I keep it blender refuses to export) 5. select all meshes and import skeleton and parent it with selected 6. keep all meshes and skeleton selected and export then it goes like this: 7. export sucessful 8. loading in GECK just to see the mesh is completly invisivle and an weird black stripe/spot, wich I assume is somehow the mesh, is seen on the edge of the window. I also found a program message: niftools.blender.export:WARNING:Changing extension from to .nif on output file. I'm not sure if this is an usual message or an error message. But thanks for the help so far.
  7. Okay, well, at the time I'm trying to do armor mashups in Blender. I've followed this, actually very good, tutorial http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/227460-creating-armor-mashups-in-fallout3-with-blender/ But everytime I try to export the model 1. blender refuses to export because "multiple bones" with the same name exist or 2. if I'm sucessful with exporting and try to load it in the GECK the armor is invisible and a weird black spot is shown at the edge of the mesh view window The funny thing is that I was sucessful one time creating an mash up that worked. But I can't remember how I did this. I would be really glad if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
  8. I'm male but I often play females. Well, I think it's just interesting that the world could be saved by an female. Especially in fantasy since in this genre most (not all but most) women are either just companions of the actual hero (a dude) or the damsel in distress. I'm not that kind of person that just takes an elf lady and makes her awesome sexy. I prefer realistic female characters like a big strong orc girl with sexy but still fitting face (no uber sexy lips, no big bug eyes, no wavy hair). I've played Oblivion with an female orc barbarian (light armor and two handed) and it was a lot of fun. Would be nicer if the NPC would react more to the race and gender but it what are mods for?
  9. Bored... well I was slightly bored but this was probably because of the side quests (they weren't that good) and the lack of exploring (its big, its filled, its detailed but its not Fallout 3). The only two things that really dissapointed me were the marriage function (I was hoping for some spouse related side quests like the follower questst in Fallout New Vegas) and the puzzles in the dungeons (too easy and the traps weren't deadly enough). The dungeons itself were pretty nice. The may look similiar but they all have their own design after all. If you want to walk trhough boring dungeons then play Dragon Age 2 (always the same dungeon model). The main quest ending was okay but I hoped for an more epic boss fight. Alduins AI isn't the best during the battle. I think Skyrims gameplay can be descripted as an "Legend of Zelda light" since its more an adventure than an RPG but it's still a good one.
  10. Well, these are just a few ideas I have to (in my opinion) improve Skyrim a tiny bit. 1. Staff animation/idle I think it looks a bit too dynamic how the staffs are show on the character. Instead of that rather dynamic vanilla holding animation I would like to have an more calm holding style wich would fit more to an mage in my opinion. I would like to have something like this http://www.bolgernow.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/mage-cool.jpg rather than this http://www.gamerjutsu.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/mage.png And an proper way to show the staff on the character while being undrawn would be nice too. 2. Skeletons The skeletons in Skyrim look way too bulky to me. I simply would like to have the mesh a bit rigged to look more natural. I know that there's an similiar mod for the skeletons in Oblivion so I know it's possible. Then there's another thing. I would like to have skeletons with armor like in this mod http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/39784 I'm not sure if anyone will read this but if someone does: These are my itty bitty ideas. If you're interested thengo ahead. I'm sure some detail loving people like me would like them too.
  11. This is an pretty interesting idea. Reminds a lot of the system in FO3 and NV. But I think this would require to create an Karma system for Skyrim. Anyway, I have a similiar idea. It would be basicly an useful version of Oblivions adoring fan. After you defeated Alduin (and only then) you'll aproach a group of people that worship the dragonborn. They all would wear dovakhiin fangear (iron helmet) and would be able to recruit as follower. Just my idea.
  12. thanks for your support and suggestions. As I'm sure you would know, I would do this myself, but I'm sure it requires scripting, which I don't know how to do, or at least making new dialogue set up and quest stages, which I know how to do, but I find it very irritating, and I only know the very basics. It will definitly. There some tutorials out there but I tried one of them to create an follower for Fallout NV but it didn't worked. I've managed him to follow me but there were no dialogue and stuff. You could also try to find someone who is skilled in this and ask him/her for help. Anyway, if you need some ideas for the new NPC's too I have plenty of these.
  13. Okay, this is something new. Instead of renaming the shrines you could replace them with actual (and fitting) saints. I think Bethesda actualy used them as reference for their TES gods so why not? You would need some meshes that look like the fitting statues to replace the shrines. You know a statue of Mary (Mara), one of Jesus (I think he would fit to replace Arkay) and so on. Also helpful would be a replacer for the chapel windows. This one should be easy to make with photoshop. Just a few suggestions. P.S.: I have to say that I don't like religions but I don't have a problem with this thread. As long as he doesn't want to force me into christianity and/or declares a new crusade I'm fine.
  14. Sounds good so far. But I personally would like to keep the standard NPC's for marriage but I they should be improved. First, I hoped that Bethessda would make such nice characters for Skyrim like Obsidian did in Fallout New Vegsa (yes, I love them all... despite of Boone... I don't like Boone) but sadly I was dissapointed. Same with the original marriage option. I really were hoping for something interesting like combating the orc who was actually supposed to marry Borgakh to marry her. But... the only thing I had to do was paying her some septime and she started following me :/ Another point I disliked was the fact that everyone can marry everyone regardless of age or gender. Would like to get a change for that too since a world with an entire bisexual population just seems ridicoulus. Anyway this option would also be great for your planned NPC's. For example If you're male and you want to marry a male NPC who isn't gay (could be somehow part of the script, I'm not familiar with scripting) he could react confused in the matter of "Eeeerrrr.... dude, you know I'm a guy. Do you?'" or something like that. A bit more personality. As for the vanilly NPC's you could try to expand their script but I bet this would mess some things up. Anyway, I'm supporting this idea and hope you'll get started soon.
  15. Actually a nice idea. I don't think it would be really necessary to create entire new fjords since theres at least one. I'm talking about the bay near Windhelm wich is actually a fjord to me. I would suggest simply improve this place to look like a real fjord.
