It doesn't have to be a list of mods sorted by votes necessarily, if they are so problematic. "Show more top mods from this period" link next to every month in the mods of the month page, that directs you to mod search for that specific month, sorted by edorsements/views/whatever would be just as good. I know you can do it by yourself with few more clicks using search functions, but it's just nice convenience. I think for big games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim especially, there are a lot of missing gems that didn't make it to mods of the month, so this could help finding them.

In the mods of the month, next to each month section, there should be a "More top mods from this month" option, that redirects you to search with the time range filter set up for this specific month.

I blocked "Real World Issues" tag, yet BLM mods with those tags still show in the mods of the month tab for Fallout 4. I use mods of the month as a convenient way to find mods when being away from a game. This sucks since I almost missed single shotgun and cranky mod.
