kieranbhoy, I will be creating this mod by myself yes. Progress will obviously be slow due to the fact that I do have a life outside Fallout. If anyone is willing to help me with the mod, however, I will be happy to accommodate them. The mod will rebuild the subway system starting out, and slowly improvements can be made to it, etc. The areas around the stations will be remodeled over time, at the players discretion. The player can then have the option to join one of two factions. Either the National Trust or the Eden Initiative. National Trust is more enclave style, quick expansion with little regard to human rights or further damage to the environment, all while rebuilding the governmental structure. The eden initiative will be much more environmentally inclined, and be much like the brotherhood of steel except without the need for control over pre-war tech. Expansion with them will slowly progress, and their governmental structure will be similar to that of socialism. The player may also choose to begin his/her own faction using hidden vaults around the d.c. area (connected by underground transit) as a city & base.
Ladies and gentlemen, obviously this will be an extreme overhaul of the game, and will bring the fun of quests back into fallout after the DLC's. This I find to be the most lore friendly method (mind the factions) out there that is so radical in its changes. Please, any help on the project is much appreciated.
LambentEarache, I thought about it, but I felt the mixture was innappropriate without western BoS & NCR, and the logistics of porting them into my mod wouldn't be worth the effort. Remember, dc is much smaller than vegas, and space to house three new factions on top of the two previously mentioned on top of the two already there would be crowded.
Ok, just letting you know that Fallout 4 will be here eventually (within a year i presume) so if you want to wait til that comes out then start modding on that.

Well i was going to head to Solitude and live there, but i found out that the legion rules there.
Now i can't choose, im saying Riften but i need to check out Markath(?)

Ok so i have been wanting to live in Solitude until i played it and found out the empire rule it -.-
Any other non-snowy place to live in? Even if it isn't major, still list it.

I would really like more games like Cave Story or its squid cousin, Ikachan. Otherwise I have really fond childhood memories playing Donkey Kong Country and whatnot.
I can't say I ever got into those 3D platform games you mentioned however.
Even great 2D platformers need to make a big comeback.

As ive said Unity 3D is good for beginners.

I you want to be a game designer, maybe for Bethesda or just for modding use This(Its what Bethesda uses to make TeS games)
Also, if you are new to game design try this free software Unity 3D You can make profit from this though its worse than UDK.
Or UDK Which is better than Unity 3D but you can't make profit.

Now, since I have already gave Bethesda over £200 from buying games, I decided it's time to try it for free.
I'm trying to download and play Fallout 3 for free. So I downloaded a torrent from *snip*. I copied what it says to do in this video: *snip* And got to the menu where It says 'data files', 'play' and such. So, I click play, but get this: http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j410/kieranbhoy/Help.png
