  1. Yeah, block them. You can't block said ad's with Adblock.
  2. No it wasn't. It took months before it was officially cracked. Skidrow just used the files from the hackers that made the offline server. The offline server was rather poorly made anyways. Yep, and HAWX 2 is still uncracked afaik. That might just be because nobody cares about it, though. That's what I'm thinking. There are still a lot of requests for it too. Tbh the decision to even use such DRM was rather horrible. Plus I highly doubt any police official or whatever you wanna call it is gonna arrest someone just because they downloaded a album. Steam games are cracked very quickly. Mostly within 3-4 hours of release. Same with SecuROM and GFWL. Cracking a game does not necessarily mean that you can't play the full game. I can already think of a lot of examples like that, Magicka being one of them. As for MP, yes using a crack does render the MP portion unplayable on official servers in some games but not in Bioshock 2 (I think) and Borderlands where as you can have a cracked copy and still play online. Crysis 2 when it first came out you could play on official servers with a randomly generated key and a crack.

  4. Hmmm... A quick search using the two different game categories ("All Dragon Age:Origins files" and "All Dragon Age 2 files") found 75% (1653) for Origins/Awakening, and 25% (520) for DA2. (Obviously not all mods for either are correctly tagged.) There are two complete sets of categories, the DA:O ones listed first, then DA2 with its own identical set. Here's a screenshot of the area of the Files page where you can select this, with the start of the DA2 list highlighted:  Thanks for that. I wasn't aware that was even there.
  5. I'm gonna have to agree with this. I recently bought the Ultimate Edition of DA and was looking for mods and all I've seen were mods for 2.
  6. Is there any proof that this is even true. It seems to me that Valve is doing really well irregardless of piracy.
  7. Tbh I don't think anybody reads it. I never read any of the rules let alone the TOS for any site including this one since it's pretty much the same everywhere. It's like the EULA in a way.
  8. As far as I know the DA2 toolset is exactly the same as DAO's with only minor in-house improvements. "'The tools we're using to make Dragon Age 2 are very, very close to the tools you guys have used to make your mods for DA:O. They're not identical, as we've made a few in-house improvements, but they're almost identical. As such, there isn't a new toolset to release, per se.
