  1. Never mind, was bale to kill caeser and get the Chip. From there, I didn't need a quest to blow up Mr. House' secret weapon bunker. He gave me a warm welcome when I entered the Lucky 38, laser warm. I was able to stride in and kill him. Done and done. Would have liked to chat up Caeser and Benny (you don't get a major conversation with Benny if you kill Caeser), but thats that.
  2. I was able to bring himto me using placeatme but he just says "What do you need?", so much for that. Ah well, I guess I won't be able to destroy the Securitron army like I had planned. Pity, still it does seem like it is broken. Perhaps I am to hated by the Legion?
  3. haven't touched beyoned the beef. but if I did want to summon Alerion how would the console input look like? His base id is" 00013a5fe ref id is: 00013a5ff Would I inpurt "placeatme 00013a5fe" or with an f at the end? Any symbols I left out in my typing?
  4. I have been having problems with starting Render Unto Caeser after the quest Ring-A-Ding. After I flush Benny out I walk through the exit of the Tops and no one meets me to give me said mark. I killed Vulpa back in Nipton so I am expecting a chap named Alerio. In any event here is my setup. 1. I have been tasked to kill House by the NCR 2. I need the Mark to go to the Fort 3. Once there I will talk to Caeser and he will give me the Chip 4. I then go into the bunker and do what Caeser say's and destroy the Securitrons 5. I go back and then free Benny and kill Caeser. 6. March back to Vegas and kill Mr. House. That way I screw Caeser's Legion and make sure that the Securitron army is never unleashed upon the world and Benny gets off scot free. I should hate the guy but I dont, he owns up to his actions and is no craven. But I can't do that without receiving Caeser's Mark so I am wondering how I go about fixing that. Does Alerio come after a few days if he does not come immediately? Is there a way I can summon him or start the quest with console commands? Mr. House assures me that I will eventualy be invited into the Fort but I haven't tried waiting for days. I have NVR, which redesigns Vegas so it is possible that this might have interefered with Alerio's arrival. Thanks for any feedback on this issue and sorry if this post is in the wrong forum.
  5. Roger that, I will attempt to make contact with the man when able.
  6. I was thinking of making a self styled Blademaster in service of the Legion and wanted to find an appropriate armor set. Although I had downloaded the legates armor I wanted to make myself distinct. I came across this armor overhaul of the Legion by Hedszot that would be perfect for a character fighting for the Legion. Thing is, the mod itself is an overhaul and I only wanted one of the armors in it. I have mods that would come in conflict with its implementation you see. Specifically I am interested in this one armor: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/images/41206-3-1301749340.jpg You have to admit that is sick. So I was wondering if there was a way to copy this armor into the game so I could use it there without affecting the legion. Any thoughts? Should I use the Geck and if so how would i go about it? Here is the link to the Legion Armor Overhaul by Hedszot: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41206
  7. As the title suggests, I was wondering how exactly you went about contributing to mods that require voice actors. I don't mean to say that my voice is anything to brag about, but I would love to do something to help out. I have no technical skills so to speak of when it comes to other aspects of making mods so I thought I would start here. What I want to know is the required equipment and programs needed in order to create voice files that can be integrated into a mod. Is there something extra I can do to make the voice work better? Thank you to those who take the time to read this and answer.
  8. I have the same problem as well, must be pretty widespread. Even small files cannot be loaded, and I was hoping to be able to get some of the new ones such as the injector stimpack one. I didnt know if this all stemmed from me not being a premium member, but I do not think that is the reason. The site looks ok, I guess - still takes some getting use to. The Advertisment sometimes gets in the way of the option menus however.
  9. Name: Damon Gender: Male Age: 26 Race: Caucasian Combat Style: Energy Weapons Specialties: Medicine; I can put you back together as easily as I can tear you down [Living Anatomy Perk]. Weaknesses: Needs to wear goggles to protect his eyes from the flash of laser weaponry. Also has difficulty expressing human emotions at times [Low Charisma – Dump Stat]. Likes: Damon likes a good spot of whiskey by the fire as well as the warm rush of an advanced energy weapon in his hands. His old home had been cold, to say the least, and so he enjoys that which takes his mind off of it. Dislikes: Having to clean acid off his clothing… or radiation, dirt, mud, grime, blood or any kind of foreign contaminant. Of course he also dislikes those who commit terrible deeds for their own sake and such and such. But the dirty clothing just hits a nerve. Wants: To find a home. Fears: Being found by those he sought to escape. Friendly Factions: The NCR and Followers of the Apocalypse [Main Liked Factions] Enemy Factions: Caesar’s Legion [Main Disliked Faction] Companions: ED-E is more useful than Rex due to it's ability to stay out of the main fight yet still acquit itself. Damon also respects Boone's desire for vengeance as well as peace and like’s to have him in a fight. Love interest?: Sarah Weintraub is kind of cute I suppose – and stable, not like she is going anywhere… what with her case of agoraphobia and all. Parents: Didn’t have any Early life: Damon was an android created in the Institute back in the Commonwealth, what was left of the state of Massachusetts, as part of an advanced program to create the perfect soldiers. The project sought to create the perfect fighting force, as responsive and obedient as any machine but as flexible and tactical as any human operative. He will never age past 30, [Logan’s Loophole], and can simulate human feelings, emotions and desire’s perfectly. Unfortunately, developing a free will was not an intended effect and something which he had to hide for fear of termination. Teen years: He was trained for combat in all manner of weaponry (particularly “superior” energy weapon technology), as well as taught a great deal of knowledge from the Old World which included Medicine (a favorite of his). Though prized he was treated as expendable, and had to survive murderous tests set upon him by his creators. He escaped with the help of the Railroad and headed West to find a new life. How did he become a courier?: Running had been a part of Damon’s life ever since leaving the Institute. Within him was advanced prototype technologies the Institute would stop at nothing to retrieve. Even after losing the last hunting group by jumping over a waterfall in Utah, Damon still ran to avoid discovery. He was no coward, but the Enclave at its peak would have been hard-pressed to dissuade the institute from claiming its “rightful property”. To make a living of his existence he took up the trade of a courier in order to make ends meet, allowing his newfound profession to take him as far as Nevada.
