  1. Nope. All games can be modded. Only difference is, how easy it is and if it's worth modding it if it's not.
  2. LOL, thank god I didn't pay actual money for this crap. Fallout franchise is officially dead. No amount of modding is going to save this game. Before Fallout 4 was released, I actually thought Bethesda would learn from FO3 and NV. Boy I was wrong. They slowly stripped away core aspects of what makes it a Fallout game. With this absurdity called FO76 they just took it out back and put it out of it's misery. This is Bethesda beta testing their live service game with Creation Club only mods and micro-transaction. I'm sure TESO 6 most likely be SP, especially after this fiasco. Don't get too excited because Beth announced that Starfield and ESO 6 will be using the same old outdated game engine. Bethesda basically were given a pass back in the days since they argue that it's easy to mod using this engine. Then the hardworking modders went to work to fix all their bugs and make it look pretty. Now people are just fed up with a game that's crap full of bugs and getting charged full AAA price.
  3. Th That's a good tutorial on method of injecting ENB. I've never used injection method cuz didn't need to but good to know.
  4. what's your system spec? are you using enb? Why aren't you using Unoffcial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch? You have all the DLC. Is that the Official Bethesda Hi-Res Texture Pack you're using? From what I hear they can be pretty heavy on your computer. Would be better just to use Noble Skyrim Texture pack or any other replacer packs, you don't have to take my word for it, you can research it yourself. Do you have a lot of hi res texture replacers that don't have esp? Seems like you have some heavy scripted mods combined with your hi res textures just made your computer CTD cuz it ran out of memory. Does it happen in the same spot? If you're game is failing to allocate memory it would cause instant crash. This happened to me for a long time until I figured out it wasn't the mods but the game engine itself can't handle it. Are you using Skyrim Memory Patcher? If not, than you should take a look at these. https://youtu.be/37xAMUQc1oY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdar8cIGd24 I was getting random CTD until I figured out that my Memory patch wasn't working.
  5. That all depends on your system spec and the mods you're loading. IMO, SE runs a lot better and smoother than oldrim. It's not as sensitive. We'll find out more once SK64 gets released cuz as of now there aren't too many heavy scripted mods out yet. I have basically similar texture replacers set up on SE and SE still runs better and loads faster. I think I had only like 1 CTD and it was my fault on my part. It's up to you. As of now a lot of popular mods are there and more are being ported. I'm still waiting until SK64 gets released cuz I really hate Skyrim vanilla combat without TK Doge and Lock-On.
  6. Only problem I've had with that mod was being constantly wet and soggy foot sound even though it wasn't raining. Other than that no other huge problems on my end. BTW, are you using Skyrim Memory Patch (SSME). It might help mitigate some pressure off your heavy scripted mods, especially if you've installed lots of hi-res textures.
  7. From the looks of your load order, I see Relighting Skyrim. Do you have any other mods that modifies interior lighting? If yes, maybe compatability issues. If not, from what I read about in the past. This problem is the limitation of the game engine. If I remember correctly the game engine can only have certain amount of shadows rendered in that particular cell. Just by looking at the gif you can see 3 light sources. I'm guessing that's why when you or the npc produces another light source, that's when you went passed the limit. In vanilla skyrim Bethesda used ambient lighting (which produces no shadows) to light up the cell. They put them in places that didn't even have light sources. Only to light up the room the way they think it was best. But mods like Relighting Skyrim, Realistic Lighting Overhaul and ELFX. They mod the interior to remove ambient lighting and make it so that all lighting sources produce light and shadow. This was a real big problem for me back in the days. But, recently I reinstalled my Skyrim from scratch. So far I only encountered one cell that did this. But, I use ELFX. So I can't really say if Relighting Skyrim be the cause of the issue. I even go far as to use mods like Guard Torch Remover so I can minimize it from happening. If you go to the mods page the modder even explains that the game can't handle too many light sources. Sorry I can't give you a definite solution to the problem cuz it's seems like it's just the way what the game can handle. I can only explain what it's caused by.
  8. You said you installed ENB and was playing fine for a while. And now when you try to play again in another session the game CTDs at the intro slide scene in the main menu, is this correct? Maybe some of your game files got corrupted, I'm guessing you have the steam version? if yes, try verify integrity of game files. If everything checks out good, try deleting your .ini files in your documents folder. I don't recall if FO3 saves render info in the documents folder with .ini files, delete that too. Makes sure to make a backup of them just in case you want to keep the old settings.
  9. It's hard to pinpoint the problem without knowing what mods you have installed and stuff. Can I assume you have all the requirements the mod needs? SKSE 1.6.9 or higher and the latest skyrim patch? If yes, then first thing I would look into is the load order. Run Loot or BOSS whatever you like using. After that, check to see if you have leftover scripts from previous mods you've had but uninstalled. For me, this gave me the most problems while playing Skyrim. It would crash while loading, opening menus, saving ect. Try using this tool, Save Game Script Cleaner. You should also try starting a new game and see if the problems persists.
  10. The DLC are full of dirty edits. Unless you clean them using TES5Edit it can lead to unstable game and CTD's. Here's a tutorial made by Gopher showing you how to clean them. Skryim Mod Toll TES5EDIT : Cleaning your master files.
  11. If you're using NMM you can export your load order and open with note and copy paste here. But that only shows plugins. Doesn't show texture replacers. From my understanding scripting is more on the CPU side not your GPU or vram and you didn't post what CPU you're running. You can download a free software calle Speccy and it'll show your computer specs in detail. The texture replacers and animation replacers don't have scripts so you shouldn't worry about that. Juding by your RAM and VRAM though I would not recommend using 2K texture replacers. If you're going to use texture replacers try to use performance versions or 1K textures. To further optimize your textures try using Optimizer Textures. It'll also makes a back up of the texture files it optimizes in case something goes wrong. Also, try using Skyrim Project Optimization. Most importantly use Skyrim Save Cleaner. Even though you uninstall a mod with scripts and do a clean save. The scripts that are running are stored in the save file which can potentially cause instability, slow downs and crashes. Use that that tool to remove scripts that are no longer needed. Make sure to check make backup save so just incase it removes something that it shouldn't. So far I had no problems with it.
  12. What did you merge in the bash patch? Leveled list? Merged Plugins? Have you tried using LOOT to sort your esp's? Only thing that I can see that can potentially affect your weapon dmg is from SkyRe and Duel Combat. Since, I don't use either I can't say for sure. I usually put the bash patch at the very bottom of the load order. A good way to find out which esp is modifying your weapon dmg is to use TES5Edit. Once it finishes loading all your plugins, on your left window expand the Skyrim.esm tree, then expand weapons and look for iron dagger and left click it. On your right window it'll show you the plugins that are modifying that weapon. Scoll down and you'll see DATA - Game Data and beneath that you'll see value, weight and damage. Now depending on how your load order is the last esp will win the conflict. And move those plugins accordingly to what dmg you want. Better yet, make a merged patch using TES5Edit so those conflicting mods can work together nicely and put the merged patch and bash patch as the last 2 esps on your load order. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube on how to create a merge patch using TES5Edit.
  13. What ENB are you trying to install or get it to work? cuz enbs are packaged differently depending on the modder. yeah you should start a new thread.
  14. Ladies and Gents, Tonight I come to you with a what maybe the solution to the infamous ENB 1st person view transparent bug. I can't 100% say this solution will work for you like it did for me. It might all depend on what enb you're using and what not, and what other mods or obse plugins you're using. All I know is, I've tested this and it works. I don't usually use the forums, only when I have some bugs I want to fix I come on here and search and most of the time I find what I'm looking for and leave quietly. But, this I have to share because like most of us who use enb for Oblivion that transparency in 1st person was annoying as hell. Ok let's get down to business. I came back to Oblivion because Skyrim was getting rather boring. Call me a nostalgia fag or whatever but I just like the Oblivion atmosphere better. So, I started installing mods and stuff. Tried all these different ENB's and finally found one that I liked. It was Aero V2, ENB 181, No Letterbox, Core - Vivid, with optional SMAA and FXAA. As I was playing, I noticed the transparency in 1st person. I googled and couldn't find any solution except the one for Fallout. So, I scan through the comment sections on most of the enb and someone mentioned that Enhanced Camera mod might fix it. I dl it and installed (Enhanced Camera with Camera Commands) because I was going to use that mod anyways. But, it didn't work. I was like screw this I've already spent too much time looking for this solution. I might as well just wait until Boris decides to update the Oblivion ENB, if he ever will that is. Next, I proceeded to look for water mods. I decided to try OBGE Liquid Water but that was a failure as Liquid Water and Enb turned parts of the ground all transparent. For me It just didn't work. Then, I came across Improved Waters by Alenet. I checked some pics and I like it a lot. Installed it and I noticed he had all these effects wrapped with the mod like DOF, AO, and Godrays. Well, I disabled all of them cuz I'm already using an ENB with them enabled. I did a test run to see how the water looks and to see if everything was running smoothly. Wen't into a fort and pulled out my torch in 1st person and I was like wait a minute. Something is odd here. I pulled out my sword and started hacking away and looked at my sword. What the hell?!?! It's solid. I went out the fort too look closely in the sunlight. WTF?!?! I was confused, I didn't know what I have done to fix the bug. I started to backtrace what I did. Ok, I've installed Improved Waters last. I unchecked the esp in OBMM and loaded it back up. Nope, still solid. Then, I realized it came with a ini and an OBSE plugin. I deleted them both and fire it back on. And viola! my hands were transparent. It became clear to me that just having the DLL or with the ini worked. I don't know for sure cuz he does have other folders like shaders and textures and I didn't delete those while testing. Here are some screenshots of before and after. Beforehttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/Cyph3R213/Oblivion/Oblivion2015-01-0800-07-05-06_zps69c95e6a.png Afterhttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/Cyph3R213/Oblivion/Oblivion2015-01-0800-08-42-43_zps33d98569.png Beforehttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/Cyph3R213/Oblivion/Oblivion2015-01-0800-07-01-91_zps310856c6.png Afterhttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/Cyph3R213/Oblivion/Oblivion2015-01-0800-08-45-56_zps7179f171.png WTH my writst looks deformed  anyways getting back to the subject. Now you might be saying, Kam you're full of $%*&. You just pressed shift+f12 to take those pics. If that was true then the after photos would look like crap cuz you know dam well vanilla settings would not look that good. That's the end of the story. If this doesn't work for you then you didn't lose nothing but time reading my ramblings and installing few mods. If it did, you should thank the lucky stars and kiss Alenet. (You should also try his improved waters mod it's a great mod and a good alternative for OBGE Liquid water cuz either you don't like using OBGE like me or whatever the reason. Make sure to endorse even though you didn't install his mod but his obse plugin worked. You should by him lunch. Hell, you should invite me and Alenet to your house and introduce us to your sister. Ok, maybe not the last part. It's 2 am here in Sydney and I starting to get a little hungry and tired. I'm gonna go back to enjoy playing my game and maybe get some shut eye soon. Good luck to you all, hope this works our for you. Goodnite~
