Well I can play the game no problem there, she just deleted the directory where NMM keeps the logs so my NMM shows no mods atm, can't uninstall or manage any previously installed mods now. That folder was around 8 GB as I remener and she seems to have deleted around 20 GB of data, what the rest that's gone are to be found yet. No worries I didn't murder her :D I just told her to use my notebook under parential supervision :D I tried a few data recovering programs etc to recover the files, some are recovered but still didn't fix my problem so now I am unistalling Skyrim and anything related to it. I played with the same character since 11.11.11 and restarting, redownloading and reinstalling the mods will take too long of a time so for now I put Skyrim aside in tears :D Maybe I'd return someday :) I never used or needed system restore so always preferred to keep it off, aaaaanyway thank you for the help and advice :)

Well people I have a major problem with NMM, Today when I wasn't at home my sis seems to have decided to use my laptop and she messed with some files, it appears that somehow she managed to delete the folder where NMM keeps the files, logs etc of the mods installed. So now I have the mods in the game but I don't see them in the NMM, so can't manage, remove etc. I had maybe over 100 mods and tring to manage them without NMM would be a torture. I had nearly 25 GB of mods it would be torturous to redownload them, reinstall them all etc. Is there an easier way to revert this? Any solution?

I had the exact same issue. Finally, tonight I went through and disabled everything, then loaded an old save and started enabling groups of mods until the problem re-appeared. For me, the RaceMenu mod was the culprit; disabling it immediately cured the problem. Looking at the mod page, it appears to be a known issue that I simply overlooked. Hopefully they'll fix it at some point, but until then I'm thinking that the mod isn't something that gets used every day, so I just disable it. I had the exact same issue. It's cause of wet and cold mod I guess, I removed the mod and deleted wet trigger scripts and don't get the error anymore.

You can change the GPU that you want to use from Catalyst Control Center menu or if you can't do that you can turn off the Intel GPU from the bios if there is such option.

I have a similar problem, disappearing weapons, I fly minutes after a draugr uses a shout on me etc I thought it could be a mod based thing but we have only 2 mods in common convenient horses and dragon falls manor apart from unofficial patches of course.

Well here is what I did and solved the problem from a similar help seeking topic I started: "I traveled to Skyrim, completed one quest, updated wet and cold and also saw the 1.0.1 update for unofficial dragonborn patch then when was in the Honningbrew Meadery I saw a message saying something like a vision of Solstheim flashes before your eyes, traveled back to Solstheim and the book worked." Don't know if it was luck or anything done in this process really fixed this. You can try deleting some script heavy mods if you have them, or or mods that add or changes animations. Also try the 30 days wait thing that might help, cause I might have done that too when in Skyrim, I don't remember exactly.

Update unofficial Dragonborn patch mod to 1.0.1 if you didn't that made it work for me.

Update it, older versions cause Dragonborn animations to not work. I had the latest version, though the problem is solved somehow. I have bowlegged jump animation fix and fores new idles in the animation category of my NMM

Well peoplem at the beginning I had major problems playing Dragonborn DLC but after long times spent trying to fix them I could play it with very minor problems. But after some time a new problem occured, I learnt the last words of Bend Will and now I need to read Waking Dreams and go to Apocrypha but reading it doesn't take me there I just stare at the book. Modded or Mod-Free both the same. Anybody knows of a fix for that?

Well I used Wrye Bash but didn't notice it making a big difference to be honest still to try Skyproc though. Still I have some bugs but not extreme game breakers. Sometimes when I kill a dragon I absorb the souls ages later. I keep n playing and 10-20 mins later out of nowhere I absorb the soul of a dragon I killed aroun Markath when I am already in Riften for example. The most annoying one is sometimes when I walk by people a conversation is automatically triggered and my character turn to them with dialogue options opened once it happened with 10 or so imperial soldiers around and every imperial soldier triggered a dialogue, I left one and the other started so I had to kill them all and usually when I load a game the drawn weapon in my hand disappears but will sort those out in time too I guess.

Sadly my friend no game has any replayability for me can't recall many games I returned back and had a second playthrough maybe a few so I won't abandon my wood elf we've benn through a lot :D I clean all my mods with tes5edit but never wyre bash maybe will learn a bit about it and try sometime and skyproc patches I hear for the first time actually I'll check that thing too thanks for the advices. Weird thing, as I said before I disabled all mods but that didn't solve my freezes but today I just felt like removing some mods that seemed obsolete to me so removed several armor mods and not even very high res textured ones but I also wanted to try and remove battle fatigue and skybirds mods and a miracle happened. My GPU tems are the same between 85-95C but I started to get over 60 FPS and freezes and so far the freezes are gone. The periodic couple of secs freezes stay but the game crashing freeze is gone which makes the game playeble I guess the other periodic freeze is the result of bloated saves maybe. So far I only got one CTD I'll se if it repeats or if is a one time thing.

First thing to do is to try with mods deactvated to find out if a mod is causing the problem, also try to load an old save before the problem occured.

Alithinos good observation I gotta say first and thanks for the advices. Unfortunately in my experience the temp of my graphics card is more likely to be normal, all 4820TG users with HD5650 graphics cards report such high temperatures, at first seeing that temp I panicked myself too but it works in such high temps for most games and not cause any problems, for example with the game Sleeping Dogs it goes up to 105-107C and the game runs smoothly. I periodically apply thermal compound and that doesn't change a thing either, without games the temp is around 50-60C and in games differs between 80-110C. The framerate drop came also with the Dragonborn DLC before wasn't extremely high but I'd get over 30 FPS but I'll remove the High Res Textures and see if that helps. I don't have any overclocked parts if I overclocked my GPU I'd probably be cooking on it. Though what annoys me is before Dragonborn I had much more mods that this and had no such problems. I'll see what I can do using your advices to get solid performance though thanks. The freezing happens with a new game too, the interesting part is all over Tamriel(Skyrim and Solstheim I mean) the game freezes for a few secs periodically but only in Slstheim it freezes completely after a while. Also out of curiousity, isn't there a way to get rid of the scripts with an old save? Needing to start a new game after 60-70 levels everytime could be annoying. As I explained to Alithinos too my temps are more likely to be normal for my GPU unfortunately. I tried the lowest settings, turned off AA and FXAA etc and still get freezes. Is there a good tutorial or something like that for the .ini shadow tweaking or .ini tweaking in general? I tried to stay away from the ini files not to mess things up so I'm not extremely knowledgeable about it.

That is a dragon shout (Throw Voice) you can use, useful especially when sneakin takes attention of enemies to somewhere else helping you sneak so I use it often in human inhabited camps, caves or dungeons but dragons aren't supposed to use them you got a brand new bug I believe.

"After this its smooth sailing as the cultists appear, attack me jada jada, and I finally get to Solstheim. Once here I decide to rent a room at the inn and sleep for a bit, but find myself, at the moment of cliking sleep after chosing amount of time, to be instantly teleported to one of the shrines where people are mindlessly walking around. So by now the game has teleported me across half the island, to the shrine next to Miraaks temple, kind of spoiling that part a little bit for me. I think that maybe this is part of the game, so I move onward through the snowstorm and eventually find a capsized ship with some reavers (which I kill). By now its in the middle of the night, and as a roleplayer I decide to borrow a bedroll in the ship and sleep for the night. Whoop, teleported to another shrine... " This is not a bug, as I learnt from what people of Raven Rock say whe I ask about Miraak, whenever someone sleeps they unconsciously go to Miraak's temple or eath stone to build shrines there so that is most likely why you find yourself there when you sleep. For the other bugs I have no solution cause I have many of my own and got nothing to solve yet.

My freezes are quite random, happens anytime anywhere but regularly 2-3 mins after I start playing the game.

Yea they are ordered with boss I only moved UFO to the end cause otherwise UFO functions may not work for me. I tried to deactivate all the mods including skyTEST also unofficial patches etc too. Especially the freezing is getting worse and worse and saves keep bloating bt around 4 mb with each new save. I haven't gotten the 3rd texture pack but can it solve such a problem? If so I'm getting two of it :tongue:

And in data files do you see dragonborn.esm and dawnguard.esm active? I asked cause when I first got dragonborn I played a while and in my second boot of the game my skyrimprefs.ini was messed up and data files was grey so booting game by launcher would deactivate all mods including dlcs

Got similar problems and my saves are over 80 MB
