  1. I'm talking about people in THIS post. Use your brain.
  2. Ok. I think I see that no matter what is posted here, the site owner seeing that at least HALF of his user/member base is dissatisfied with the new layout, the new layout will still be shoved down our throats. There is no real choice in it. Switching to old.nexusmods.com doesn't switch it for the mod pages and I'm actually tired of typing in old in the address bar per mod I visit. So, I guess it's actually time to pull down the few mods I still have up and leave.
  3. If the new design is forced onto us, I'll have to find a new site for mods. I was just getting back into making mods also. So, hopefully the old design will be kept as a choice.
  4. I'm thinking you're correct. I think it might be the Win10 game presence bar. But, I've tried to disable it after a lot of Google searching, but, no luck.
  5. Already on borderless. Set it from Bilago's tool.
  6. This only happens when I tab out. The fonts gow fuzzy and the menu drops down to 800 × 600. Only way to fix it, is by exiting the game and restarting it. I have the latest Nvidia driver installed. Any help would be awesome. Thanks. Rig specs: AMD Ryzen 1700X 32gigs Kingston DDR4 2400MHz Asus RoG Crosshair VI Hero AM4 ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 AMP
  7. So, I'm doing a custom synth armor, I have made all the new forms and added in the custom textures, but, they keep showing up as the normal synth armor and they will not spawn in as heavy synth armor. I know it's been a million years since I made a custom armor, but, it really shouldn't be this hard. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.
  8. I don't like the new redesign. I hope it's not forced onto us. Please keep it as a choice. Thank you.
  9. Not liking the new look. How can I get the old back?
  10. I doubt there will be mod support. The devs touched on it once and they said they were considering it. But that it could change.
  11. Gothic 1 and 2 were great. I didn't care for 3. Risen 1 was also very good. The graphics of Elex weren't bad as some people are saying. I had no issues with the graphics. I quite I liked them. It was just the keybindings.
  12. Yes. I refunded it. I really wanted to enjoy this game. High hopes, but I had doubts. I'm just bummed that my doubts came true.
  13. Yes and I did that and things got really messed up. So, I set them back to default and tried my Steam controller. That was an even worse experience.
  14. I had no issues with the graphics. It was the keybindings. Gothic 3 was junk. 1 was amazing. 2 was good. Risen 1 was amazing. 2 and 3.... Not so much. Elex combat mechanics were also pretty awful. I'm glad that you're enjoying the game. It's a wonderful experience when you enjoy a game.
  15. Gothic and Risen were amazing games, this, sadly, is not. I had high hopes, but, I had my doubts. It just sucks that my doubts proved right.
  16. So, I waited and waited for unlock. It sat on "Unlock in less than an hour" for ALMOST 3 hours. Anyway, it's clunky. The voice acting is horrendous. Keybindings are so confusing I switched to my Steam controller and just... No. I refunded it. Edit: Keybindings are remappable. But, you'll want to keep them at default. Things will get VERY wonky if you change them.
  17. As of today, it's still above 60, with some dips below 60. But, it's ok to play. I don't play it as often as I did though.
  18. is the hardest part. I pre-ordered ELEX and was planning on streaming it today, but, we got no pre-load and now the wait is real. Grrrr!
  19. This started with a fresh install. I never figured out what caused it. But, I added a lot of graphic enhancement mods, ENB and a weather mod, I then added 2k - 4k weapon and armor mods. All of that finally got me to a nice 55 - 60. Sometimes it dips below 30, but, it doesn't bother me.
  20. The switch to electron is a good choice in my opinion. Especially if the app is UI heavy. C# was a good choice once upon a time. But, in my opinion, which is worth about an 1/8th of a cent, C# is just behind the times and while it was useful, there are just many factors to an app these days and C# just isn't worth using. Which is another reason we started using it for Etcher. Anyway, best of luck Tannin42 & the team! Can't wait to see where this goes.
  21. You should read that more carefully. Note the crucial bit where it says "In all other cases of omission in works published before March 1, 1989, to preserve copyright" (emphasis mine). Which means that what you linked has no bearing at all on the topic at hand. Source code patents are an entirely different animal. So, with that said, I bid you adieu.
  22. No, it doesn't need to be visible. See this circulation from the U.S. Copyright Office on the matter.A standard MIT disclaimer doesn't make it copyrighted. That you link you sent, has nothing to do with I think you should read that in it's entirety.
  23. You're confusing "readable" and "open-source". Simply because the source code is available / readable doesn't mean the code is open-source. You can read a book but you aren't allowed to copy it and build off of it. There's nothing on their OWN page that says that it can't be modified or forked. Nor is there any type of copyright on it. Anyways, just food for thought. Yes, it just says it in their ReadMe / FAQ file, which is included with every download of SKSE. Hell, you can view that ReadMe file from their website using this link, which is contained on the main SKSE page. And copyright doesn't need to be displayed, anywhere, for the SKSE team to still own copyright over the work. By law, if something is copyrighted, it must be visible. If it's not and someone copies, modifies or releases their own version, there's no way to recover damages. But, I'm not going to argue about any of this. It's all moot. I still support BeHippo and the team 100% on whatever they decide to do.
  24. It says not to work or modify SKSE, right in the SKSE ReadMe: And it sure looks like a "fork" if you go and check the Github page for "SKSE64". Basically the person just copied all the SKSE source code and worked on it themselves. Anyway, it doesn't matter if it was a fork or not. The guy had it working. So, if one guy can get it working, why can't the SKSE team get it working? As for that quote by the SKSE team, it makes no sense. The source code for SKSE is readily available. When a source code is available, anyone has the right to modify or branch their own. The code isn't closed source. Then this quote: There's nothing on their OWN page that says that it can't be modified or forked. Nor is there any type of copyright on it. Anyways, just food for thought.
  25. Arthmoor, you are conveniently forgetting the fact that one person DID make a WORKING fork. But, the SKSE team had it shut down. They supposedly gave him an option to join the team or cease and desist. Apparently he chose to discontinue his project. I really don't think an option was given. I mean think about it: If you could make a fork of SKSE and the team offered you a place on their legendary team, wouldn't you accept it? I know I would. But, anyways. Even if another person was to make another fork, BeHippo and the team would just have it shut down again. I have been a staunch supporter of the SKSE team over the years. I've even defended their right to postpone and even kill the program off if that's their choice. But, with that said, I feel that if a fork is made, then people should just let it happen. That's just my 2cents for what it's worth. I'm curious... why did they make a fork in the first place? What was it for? SE or some variation the LE version? It wasn't a fork actually. Someone just decided to make SKSE64 themselves and it worked. But, when BeHippo and the team found out, it got shut down. If you do a Google search for SKSE64 - Sourceforge you'll find it. But, it's no longer available for download.
